Brilliant!

We are so lucky to be able to run our competition on Supercoach Scores. @Jordan's Jets can tell you the difference.

The Darkness would like to nominate the folllowing squad members:

Jake Lloyd (D)
- 100 points clear as best scoring defender - despite having a game in hand
- 5x 130+
- Brushes off criticism of his playing style and suggestions of CD favoritism - simply gets the job done every week

Tom Hawkins (F)
- Second highest scoring forward
- Averaging 110, easily the highest amongst his KPF peers
- Getting better with age, recently posting a career high 204

Greenwood (M-F)
- 3rd highest points by a forward
- Played every game
- DPP flexibility
- Stepped into the void created by injury to the League’s greatest ever first year player with aplomb

Absolutely incredibly work from the brilliant @Bermi!
Loving the series.

A Witherden-

Received interest from SCSUL coaches during the trade period but @Connoisseur held firm and has been handsomely rewarded due to Witherden averaging 114 from his 4 games as a Creme de la Creme player. In an elderly backline filled with veterans such as S Edwards, K Simpson, H Shaw and M Hibberd, the future looks bright with T Doedee, A Witherden and H Young set to be staples for Creme de la Creme in the years to come.

Posted a 170 on debut which all debutants should strive to achieve when first wearing the illustrious guernsey on gameday.

Missed a few games through injury but has been a solid contributor when onfield and is aiming to be the highest scoring defender in Creme de la Creme history at the completion of his current contract (out of contract at the end of 2024).

To complete the series-

Modelling the superb indigenous guernsey designed by @KLo30 is the second half of the Fremantle fwd/mid duo owned by @Connoisseur. Another player not to have played all possible games for the club but Son Son is eager for indigenous round and to help secure a finals berth for Creme de la Creme.

Thanks again to @Bermi for his fantastic work.

NB. ALL TEAMS HAVE BEEN BLANKED FOR THE FINAL WEEK OF THE FESTIVAL OF FANTASY
There has been so many team changes, that leaving a player in or out by mistake could easily occur. In addition, we have had a four day break rather than less than 24 hour turn around. Select full team including C/VC. Rolling lock out rule still applies.
JUST A REMINDER.

There is plenty of time before lockout, however teams were blanked. There are four teams without any players.

Ahead of the Sir Douglas Nicholls round, journalist Den Dhur catches up with Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti

DD: Thanks for the quick chat Tippa, the Sir Douglas Nicholls is upon us, are you looking forward to it?

AMT: Absolutely Den, it is an absolute pleasure and honour to be playing in this game. I treasure every game I play, but this game just has that extra bit of meaning for myself.

DD: And you get to share it with Paddy Ryder.

AMT: Sure do. We are both proud footballers, it means a lot to our families and where we come from. It is just so exciting and humbling. Paddy is a bit of a larriken, so it's always great every game I get to play with him.

DD: Up against Stephen Hill as well?

AMT: Yeah I sent him a text this week, told him to wear padding this week cause I'm not going to go easy on him.

DD: You have been in and out of the team this year, how do you feel about that?

AMT: Look we have plenty of depth in our forward line at the Immortals. I'm just happy to do the team thing. If I'm not in the best 22 that's a good thing as we are only getting stronger. And when it is my turn I will go hard and do the best for the team.

DD: Finals, can you still make it?

AMT: Absolutely. Every week is out Grand Final. We have the belief we can still make, and if we win every game we give ourselves every chance.

DD: So of your team mates this year, who has impressed you most?

AMT: Jack Lukosius, he is been amazing this year, he has really grown from being a young kid with a bright future, to now being a cornerstone of our defence.

DD: And finally, the jumper design for this week, your thoughts?

AMT: Love it mate! Hope I can kick a few goals, lay a few tackles, but most importantly bring up a win for the Immortals in it!

DD: Thanks mate, good luck!

What a time to post his first score above 130 since RD19 2018.

M Murphy scoring 139 has Creme de la Creme off to a great start in the pursuit of reaching the SCSUL finals.
I’ll take you Marc Murphy, and raise you Jack Martin!

I’m not feeling as confident about the remaining 21, so figured I should get in and raise the stack early to see if you fold!
