This "short term, medium term" stuff is very non-committal, I wonder what flake came up with that? are they not qualified medical people making these diagnoses?
I saw that list initially and thought they were just about completely fit for this week because it was all just Test or TBC. It was only seeing Miller's name that it clicked.
Both of those will be challenged at the tribunal. The MRO is quickly becoming the 5th umpire. They make a report and it then goes to the tribunal.
This is probably a good thing for the game. Sets precedents under the current rules of the game. Then the AFL can alter the rules correctly and/or insure that player contract clauses are written to accurately reflect the risks players take upon themselves when playing the game.
