I would if nothing else is pressing and you have the trades, onfield rookie vs non playing coming into the byes. If you can afford to do it helps, you only lose Cincotta DPP status.

Not in the 26. Curnow and Fogarty are the two held out and Corey Warner for Sydney.

Teams have been known to let them play a half and then hold them back to be sub in the AFL, but its 20 mins into the 4qtr and Cincotta has 16 kicks 13 H/B and 3 tackles. Hmm those are fairly good numbers maybe he is a hold!
Can't see Cowans name anywhere? not AFL, VFL or injury list?

Like you, I’ve no boost. I’m holding Jelly and Oliver. I’m selling Anderson. But. My bench can cover it, just with a single fix of Cincotta to Humphries. A trade I hate. Let’s be frank, your bench needs work because cash gen is stuffed, so stuffed I don’t think you can afford to hold Anderson. But at the same time your trades balance is skinny. So skinny I don’t know if you can afford to sideways him, only blessing being you can extract a bit of cash. You need to spreadsheet up your possible trades to full premo. With 5 perhaps 6 upgrades you probably need to pull in a good 150k from each downgrade to make your upgrades to your on field rookies. This can come from either good downgrade options, extracting value from Anderson or your bench (Teakle and Cincotta go close but there ain’t the downgrade options this week…perhaps early on the Swan…but Jez).

Will you happy with Anderson in your team? I doubt it. But perhaps a bit of hope that 180 point scoring beast running out the front of packs ball in hand returns…because you need a bit of luck and better value from Anderson to achieve full premo before running out of trades.

Yeah I could not have worded it better myself. My bench is completely cooked and I don't want to risk throwing Clarry away only for him to return in two weeks with no possibility of bringing him back. It's Tom Stewart PTSD.

I got sucked into Anderson, 100% admit I chased his points. But we all know 200BE is guaranteed money loss so regardless of how I feel about him as a player, I value the money I obviously do not have elsewhere.

Think I'm just going to go Merrett to save more money for bench upgrades next week. I prefer Butters, but Merrett is the smarter option between the two of them. I posted in the Player X vs Player Y thread, so I'm looking forward to people saying the same thing to me.

Wish I didn't see this. Fact is he's not in the team though and coming into byes makes me nervous. Not sure what to do.

Has gone 95, 90 and 92 last 3 seasons. With injury affected 7 and 15 in there too.

Basically banking on him being around 93 average for the season, meaning he would average about 97 from here.

Seem to recall reading here in previous seasons that having Salem there is positive for him too but don't quote me on that. Just came back last week...

Not for me unless it is like a finals round "hail mary" ... and yes I've done that one before with success (got the 160 score)

As i sit just outside the top 3k i dont see myself scraping back to towards the top, so im focusing more on H2H

Do i?
1) not trade and cop a loss( i will field 21 players)
2) trade oliver to Merrett
2.5) trade oliver to Butters
3)cash in and grab someone like Humphrey or something for a few rounds?

Need to make a decision before 2pm tomoz, (left it late as i thought i was safe until i saw Lloyds score)

24 trades left would be as much or more than anybody. Why are you saving them?
