Is there any sense in shifting Marshall to Witts?
Ideally it would be entertained if possible to generate say $50k or $100k to assist with other upgrades if running out of cash with rookies, etc. The ceiling of Witts is limited given he does not contribute as much around the ground (marks, tackles, etc) comparative to the likes of English and Marshall and thus reliant on his ruckwork (1st for Ruck Contests Attended= 80.6, 2nd for Hitouts= 40.3 and 1st for Hitouts to Advantage= 12.8). For comparison, Marshall averages 62.5 RCA, 26 H and 8.2 HTA in those categories but compensates by averaging 4.5 Marks, 4.3 Tackles and 19.6 Disposals (1st for Rucks).

Planned trades over the byes... not going for overall, so purely targeting for team dynamic.
Here's hoping everything pans out over the next few weeks...

Briggs $393k will be interesting to see if he gets there. Richmond easy, then North and Freo (Jackson) who can be restrictive. Good to have. a plan and be thinking how it plays out over next few rounds.

Hopefully get to full premium by then. I can see 6 trades left with one premium to go. Ford critical in my view to 2-3 trades for last premium.

Thanks folks. Slightly higher average and only miss Witts points in the single game bye, therefore easier to cover. Pure luxury trade and I see Witt’s coming home stronger than Marshall.
Depends heavily on how many trades you’ve got left and how many rookies still need to come off field. If it pushes back finishing your team by 2 weeks or I’d probably say not worth it. Same as if you’re running low on trades.

North Melb.
Re EFC defenders - Redman is sure to have a big finish to the season I reckon. 170 odd last time against NM for a start.
(Not that I think that we are playing well enough to do a number on North.)

Getting him 3 rounds ago at $440K would have been nice.

I owned Redman for a while there... he is incredibly hot and cold.

Bangs out hundreds then drops a bunch of low scores. Doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason to it either, just whichever way the weekly matchups fall. Buyer beware.

Pretty sure his SC scores in wins/losses has massive deviation. If we expect Essendon to win more than they lose for the run home I reckon his numbers will be pretty good

Is Simpson to wardlaw worth it?
Does the answer change if Simpson returns this round?
14 trades left, and 250k in the bank already, which should fund my intended trades the next 2 weeks regardless.

I would say it’s worth the cash, but not the trade.

If we said that a trade was worth something towards 150k, Greenwood needs to get close to 500k to justify that, which would mean averaging >95, or more if you wanted the cash relatively quickly.

LDU is seemingly 1-2 weeks away, and I wouldn’t be overly surprised if Clarko came back soon given the recent news.

Edit: I’m now considering whether you need to include the value of, say, 30ppg for Greenwood outscoring Wilmot. It might be more viable if those points are incremental for you.
Yes it certainly feels a gamble given the factors you've outlined such as LDU and Clarko's return (though the recent update has his return seemingly still "indefinite").

From a scoring pov, I can see Greenwood averaging ~90ish over the next 3-4 weeks, whether that gives him enough of a price hike I'm not sure, and you are correct in that there is value in his points output as opposed to Wilmots over that time.

The other factor I had taken into account is there isn't many secure rookies in the market atm to generate cash. Most would have already snapped up Wardlaw and Ford, and beyond that we have Mullin and Fahey who have only played the 1 game and then possibly Harrison who will debut this weekend. If Greenwood can generate both cash and points for me over the next month before the next genuine cash cow emerges I think it's worth the outlay.

Who fits your bye structure best? Aside from that maybe Stewart just because of the more certain role, especially with Treloar back imminently for the Dogs.
Byes no real concern ( I think), yep, have been thinking about Treloar return. Will feel at ease if Stewart is in my team. I open up fanfooty to check scores and he (Stewart) always seems to be smashing it with only a handful of disposals, and I say to myself, "I have to get him in", haha.

You are right about Stewart. The fanfooty scores even translate to watching. Even though he is in my team, every time I watch him I'm always thinking 'how is he on that score?'

Yeah, especially with Ridley the price he is and Laverde back and Kelly soon as well. Rids and Redman have both had to lock down a bit.
