Should I take Johnson's 96 instead of fielding Walsh. Carlton are a carton of pickled poo at the moment and I do not want another 72 in my best 18.
Carlton are bound to lift vs Essendon. 72 is bottom end for Walsh, 150 is top end. In either case what's #19 in your scores? If it's 96 vs 88 I'd be inclined to go Walsh. If it's 96 vs 50 (with Walsh to try and beat that) then maybe you could lock in the safe score

Depends upon what you need re how many players you have this round.

If you have >20 and a 60 is meaningless, put Ford on. Has shown a high ceiling although last game role was deeper.

If you want a safer 60-70, the Cincotta has done that more often.
I've got 23 available. Taking Johnson's score in the mids - opponent has both Cincotta and Ford on the ground.

So far I have a 72, 68, 62 hoping I can get to drop out.

Ford then. Shown an ability to go large and would a risk if he score like his first two rounds. Expect Cincotta on % gives a better score, yet this is more a tagging role for you Zimmer.

Sheezel, Briggs, Green, Coniglio, Cincotta, NDaicos (C) to play
Another bad choice of VC, i.e. Dawson, considering I also had Laird in the same game as well as 5 others who scored 120 plus, so nervous wait on NDaicos playing, otherwise Coniglio.
Gulden and Lloyd/Mitchell in drop zone.
Crunch time.. do I put the C on Coniglio or roll the dice with NDaicos that either he won’t be a late out or illness affected?

I have 21 on field but three of those include Gulden 62, Weddle and Smitch. Of the possible low enders to come have Cincotta, Ford and JVR.

22 Disposals in RD12 put an end to a 29 game streak of 25+ disposals. Are you expecting this to continue and/or Essendon to negate his influence?

Which situation would you prefer to lose on (Walsh benched or Walsh fielded) and which do you expect there to be a greater variance?
