Becoming a bit circular - I’m sure those who took Yeo were aware it was a risk… I didn’t really entertain him and punted on Fyfe. To be honest I didn’t even entertain Yeo either way - there are too many red lights, individual and team wise. Don’t know why people get so defensive about picks like this. You weigh it up - you go or you don’t. It’s fine. It’s disappointing or it’s not.
Sorry if my point was misunderstood but given the prior discussions by members, I thought it was an ideal time to once again try and highlight the prevalence of a misused term amongst fantasy circles of “injury prone”. My mistake was using the opportunity to refer to Yeo rather than Player X given the intention was more of a general sense thus using the hypothetical situation of an unrelated injury suffered given it is predictable what will happen next year or in 2025 if someone like Oliver misses time for say a collarbone and/or a concussion and we have members drawing false conclusions.
I don’t see how my ownership of Yeo has any importance in the situation given the likelihood I would have made the same response either way. Aware of what could happen but given my trade and overall situation and that I am not interested in my individual performance in leagues, I wanted to go for a fun pick which might seem contrary to most. I would be more defensive about your poor statement in Post 10,685 than Yeo, which was my only reason for rehashing this.
