5 trades left, Clarry and Humphrey need to go.

THinking down to Butters and 1 of either Day or Keays.

My head says Keays but looking at Will Days run the next 5 weeks and with a turnaround in scoring could he go on a run for the rest of the season?? Also gives me dpp with dawson and constable in the backline..... Thoughts???
How about Keays and Day and forget Butters.

You've held Clarry for this long, how will you feel if he plays next week? Very much a POD too
If he plays next week and kills it I'll be pissed, but I'm betting that's highly unlikely. I read the news from Goodwin today as sprint test next week and should be right the week after, but even then no guarantees. How will they manage him when he in fact does come back. Plus holding through the byes was doable but every week from here in out is going to be a killer.

I consider myself as waiting for Clarry in order to be the bailout if Steele doesn't get his act together scoring wise.

He's been out for so long and there has been so little about it that I'm not confident he plays every game even when he does return.

As for this week though.

It's MJ > base priced R/F to allow me to swing D Cameron to F6 and moving JHF to a premium forward (most likely one of Butters/Rozee).

Leaves me with 22 'premiums' but one of those is Steele so I'll weigh up what to do with him next week.

2 trades and $66.8k left.

No trades unless it's a $550k+ injury swing moving forward.

Team's finished.*

*Jeremy Cameron please get well soon.
*Patrick Cripps please wind the clock back to 2022.
*Nat Fyfe please wind the clock back to 2021.
*Zero ruck cover (I know the risk I took, why not when you're in the 20-30k rank range).
*Deplorable bench; Melican, Maric and Chesser fall back, and I can only pray that GC acknowledges Constable's existence.

Yeo to Salem/HH/Angus (in that order).

2 trades next week for 1 up/1 down in the mids.

Then need to solve Fyfe issues, probably to Jeremy.

That'll leave 2 trades.

3 left and 300k

Have gone humphries and yeo out for DCam and Dewar.

Will be forced to field Mitchell or Weddle for the time being but I think Cameron is the right move. Provides good cover for ruck line with low grades left.

Was tempted to go down to 2 with Weddle out to almost anyone... But so long left... I think I'll just let it play out and hope.

Might go Weddle to mills next week if he plays well

Chesser is currently 145K

Could go Davey or Sturt to him, Weddle > Dawson
Like it. Young > HH was also on the mind but not sure who scores more from here.

Most teams I've seen have a kinda suspect D6 so hoping I don't lose too many points with Young there rest of season?

Hed have to be incredible to hurt from this point, lost so many points on the comp already and they are now getting at least an extra week from any premo they pick over him as the last mid.

Would you sell now? If I could get to Trac I'd be very tempted.

It depends what you are playing for. League or ranks.

If ranks, sell now. If Petracca averages 120 (like he did after the bye last year), he nets you 960 points over the next 8 games.

If Oliver is not back next week, he needs to average 160 to get you the same amount of points over the last 6 games if he plays in Round 18.

Then he comes back in Round 18, and no one knows what that looks like. First time he has had what seems like a serious injury and you need to accept all of the risks that come with it (limited TOG, sub risk, further rest, re-injury potential), etc.

Not a betting man, but 160 is highly unlikely.

Only way Id be holding Clarry is if I was ridiculously low on trades, but its very easy to say when you trade him weeks ago and get the most value out of it, I just personally never trust a so called one week hamstring.
