Rucks will be very interesting next season. So many different ways to go with players at new clubs and the impact they will have on their previous clubs too. Obviously players that aren’t affected by ruck movements will be viable too such as English and Marshall.

ESS - Goldy
MELB - Gawn (No Grundy)
NM - Xerri (No Goldy)
SYD - Grundy
WC - Flynn

Briggs a good option too but wasn’t affected by Flynn last season.

Imagine if Darcy also moves, then all bets really are off!

Probably the wrong place to ask this, apologies- but for those that finished top 1k, do you know when socks/prize packs get sent out?
Technically this is still super early planning because I’m fanging for some free KFC 🫡

Xerri is likely to be Ruck/Forward so would be great option with few forward options

I believe someone posted on twitter to check your junk mail. It was either Monday this week or late last week. So you should have your email by now.

Harmes at a new home might be an OK mid price play. Anyone know roughly what he'd cost with a 2023 average of 46.2

Xerri could be a reasonable option up forward as a R/F who should be number 1 rucks at Kangaroos with limited viable Supercocach starting options up forward. He played 9 games in 2023 with an average of 73. Don't think he gets any discount with 9 games and expect him to be around $450k? I think Jordon fwho is now a Swan could be a reasonable option? Averaged 49 in 2023 with a lot of sub games. He had some decent scores when he got a whole game.

Is there any position percentage now the season is over and the likely dual position players.

Rucks are hard for the opposite reason of last year, too many options.

Grundy seems a lock if he has a good preseason, too underpriced for how he should score.

Gawn also seems fantastic value with no backup, a 0 in his scoring and his average without Grundy confirming he's still a 120+ type outside ruck shares.

English and Marshall had great years and put runs on the board, given both's durability histories I'm not huge on paying top dollar for them but they're solid bets to be top scorers still. English would be the pick for top scoring ruck still if you put a gun to my head but is it by enough to pay 20+ points more for them.

Xerri, Sweet and Flynn all interesting value options (assuming Sweet finds his way to PA).

Briggs also a wildcard, he was phenomenal and definitely could have an upside argument made for him.

Should be interesting next year, I do hope they absolutely gut the forwards to make it interesting, much more fun when there's some action there as opposed to last year. Unfortunately expect it's going to be the same story, there'll be a dozen midfielders to pick from making wildcard options just about impossible.

Weird feeling of how few locks I'm seeing right now. Himmel if he keeps forward would be a lock for me, Sheezel if playing HB a lock for me. Not a lot of others right now though which is good and I dare say those two aren't mainstream locks at least!

R1. GAWN @103av 🔒
R2. Grundy @ 86.2av 🔒
Both solo rucks next year.
Going off Grundys heat maps for each of his games this year I don't think he'll get fwd status.
If he did English and Gawn would be 🔒 and Grundy F1
Grundy played most of his minutes in the ruck (especially when Gawn was out) so he's no chance to get R/F status next season. Xerri best of the ruck bunch that could get R/F status?
