Straight out of my head without thinking about it- Will it be difficult with that kind of strategy to actually get the cash out of the fwd line to mids or where ever you need it? Or is it all used for fwd upgrades?
I need to understand what the lay of the land is for rookie scoring potential. I feel I've got rookies like Gibcus, Coffield and Curtin (2 on the bench) who may have better scoring potential than some of the forward options like Windsor, Mannagh, Cadman, Darcy, Macrae and Wilson but I'll be honest and say I know very little about the the rookies. Will need to point some time into them pre-season for sure. JS is also a concern but we'll see what comes out of the ANSETT Cup.

This year we'll even get a free look at rookies like Gibcus, Windsor and F Macrae in Round 0 (hopefully) when they play an actual AFL game.

I don't think I can really make any solid calls on those guys until after that first weekend, when we should know more than enough.

Wines ave 112 in 2021 Brownlow year, last 2 seasons injured with no pre season, played out of position due to fitness, ave 105 in 2022, only 29, back to inside mid role, will ave significantly higher than his 463k price point, but can he get to 105 ave to make it a good selection?
Feel the 110+ season is an aberration and expectations should be greatly tempered if any prospective owners feel that range is possible and would seek to place little importance on it when splitting options. I’m struggling to envisage a 105 odd avg due to the progression of the likes of Butters and Rozee, his deficiencies and whether he can accumulate enough ball to provide a high enough ceiling in matches to compensate for the other end of the scale or too many eighties/nineties. Under $400,000 and I might have considered him but yet to really seriously entertain the option as I do not feel the potential reward outweighs the risk.
