Doesn't really fit your current team, but you may want to consider Hustwaite. I'm expecting his current 2.5% ownership might be a bit higher by this time tomorrow. Pity he is Mid only. Apparently been having a good pre season. Played reasonably well in Rd 23 last year in his first game, the whole team was rubbish in Rd 24, not just him. He's one of the players I'm most interested to see how they perform tomorrow.

D'Ambrosio should be a good pick too, like that selection. Maybe Macdonald as another option for your F1, but think he is probably well out of the price range you want.

Wait and see how they go tomorrow I guess.
Great shout. Structure can be changed with little movement so Coleman, Miller, McInnes and Clark can become Himmelberg, Flanders, Hustwaite and Mannagh to allow him to be selected (if need be), whilst still grabbing a piece of the Gold Coast midfield.

Still a couple of hours to go to match the time, but almost double the ownership now at 4.5%. :)

Good to see that his pre-season form to date held up. Still a nice POD selection, but I expect his ownership will continue to slowly climb.

Thoughts?? Lot heavier forward line then ive been seeing here which has me worried. View attachment 68147
Solid. However, we didn't get to see Macrae or Adams just yet and Harmes played a pure midfield role with a lot of guys missing, so his numbers aren't totally representative.

I would also try and have Reid in your forward line. That mid spot is valuable and you'll want to make use of it with the amount of good rookies and potentially left-field choices like Amon, N Martin, Crouch, etc.

Curtin seems to be a bit of a key defender type - not sure I could justify picking him just yet personally.

Thanks, yes still unsure on adams, hoping he can fill mills role for the first part of the year at least and make some cash.

Have been tossing up on Martin, he has been in and out of my squad a fair bit so far, giving me a lot to think about.

Nice balance. But Macrae has to go. For that $ you could straight put Steele, Miller, De goey, Newcombe etc via Ried. Straight going to outscore him.
Thanks mate, whats the reason for everyone being off macrae? I know he wasnt great last year but has been top 10 for 6 odd years.

Yes that right he has but has had a very interrupted pre season due to what I believe was groin surgery. (Correct me if I’m wrong guys) and is only getting back to full training
Yep, and the way Sanders looked out there today, he can pick up midfield minutes no problems.

Current draft, but very much a revolving door based upon glorified exhibitions at the moment. Pretty obvious to see who made their way in today :ROFLMAO:

$2.7k in the bank. Gibcus could go to get Macrae or Dempsey in.

Too scared to go without Daicos. Broke my season last year. If I come across another D or M premo I prefer then he might make way.

Excellent call by you sir - kid looked all class to me. Seemed to have so much time & so clean, never fumbled which is a great sign. I put him straight into my side after his game today, reckon he gets plenty of games & midfield time to start the season.

I love watching him play, perhaps my favourite player. For mine he is up there with peak Fyfe, Pendles, and Gaz. His balance of inside and outside skill is amazing. It pains me to say his time has come.
- Last season distance from bounce per possession doubled (source stats guru JP), his role has changed
- Preseason injury
- Rowsus awesome age analysis (see the dedicated thread)
