I find that it is not the just the floor but (because I cannot think of any other suitable term) the floor consistency. All premos even those in the 110 to 115 range have a bad one. Even Laird went 50 Rd 1 last year and he ave 117. The improvers show they have a high ceiling and often early on, but it is the bottom to mid range consistency where they fail. Take Gulden. In 2022 he showed he can score well with 6 tons including two 130 plus. But he had 15 sub 90 scores. Come 2023 he breaks out. He has some monster scores but reduces his sub 90 scores to just 5. Houston had 8 sub 90 scores last year so be needs to reduce that number IMO as well as get some big scores.

The tackle numbers for Steele, for me anyway are always the key stat I look for. It shows his intent and physicality and like you say isn't restricted in movement which has always been his nemesis.
The good thing is that this year we are blessed with plenty of other good options around that price point if he gets away slow. He's low risk and without the bye early which for me has him in front of Touk

Just wait until the following seasons when we have track watchers at every training session keeping tabs. Wow, Player Y has 42 kicks so far and he is using it very well, Player X is a no show and it is only November!

Has now jumped the shark so unfortunately no more cashless sides to come in any of the Supercoach or Sportsdeck formats this season. Was fun while it lasted. This after earlier in the week Insight Fantasy Sports starting their Supercoach World Cup which I raised a similar concept in a pm here pre Covid at the end of 2019 involving a few Sportsdeck comps as well. On top of that, everyone is now starting to cotton on about the sub $500,000/ cheap forward line structure (which I have tested to no success in the past few seasons).

At Optus the soap opera playing is no doubt "The Bold and The Beautiful". Meanwhile at the Derby, knowing the history of these teams there is a very good chance it will be "General Hospital".
