Trying not to obsess about the byes too much as realistically unlikely to be a threat winning it - happy to win my league.
Like everyone else I think the forward options are putrid so going with mid pricers.
Gone with Wittsdy as Grundy appears to be teaming with Ladhams from all reports so may not be such a great pick.
I am sure there will be tweaks but the spine of the side is set.

Yep, can’t fault it! I’ve got Grundy but agree he may end up being an average selection so going against the masses may be the right move!
Witts is an interesting selection, always dominates the hit outs and has a pretty strong midfield underneath him this year so could surprise a few people. He just doesn’t rack up possessions and/or intercept marks like the Uber premiums tend too.

Couldn’t agree more! The last couple of years I’ve made it my sole mission to avoid these players and it’s paid off big time!
This comment alone has made me really reconsider starting him.

So I'm still not at all convinced I'll play this year but this is the best time of the season so figured I'd throw a draft together...

Disclaimer: I've not watched a second of footy, I haven't followed basically anything but the injuries thread and a quick fanfooty glance at scores so consider it as "group think" free as possible but also take it for what it is! AKA: I need all the help I can get. Also is it sad that I miss writing the reviews far, far more than the sport...

Coleman is so tempting despite the early bye - his role in the practice games looks ideal/ continuation from late last season.

Seems overkill but I am toying with this, just not sure Gibcus/ Coffield/ Reid/ Burgoyne/ Pink etc are players I want on the field/ bench only preferably:-
