IMG_7759.jpeg Current thinking as Rozee just not going to the heights I need him to (watch him smash it this week)
Fyfe can become Steele/Trac next week if Hollands is a must own

Anything worth a boost here? Sexton to Darcy locked and loaded which opens funds for Fisher to Steele. Could bin Jordon instead and 2 boost options are still on the mind.

Coffield to Brown or LDU to Green. Jordon vs Fisher out feels a coin flip, Jordon been super unimpressive to me.

As a Rozee owner myself, I cannot fathom why you would bother making this trade. Bank some cash to trade your mid pricers and rookies up to other premos. Trade Rozee around his bye if you think he’s still underperforming

Max King vs Tom Powell - who is the more worthy addition? Feels like a move I wouldn't make any other season.

Personally don’t love the Rozee to Miller trade. Doesn’t really free up cash and no guarantee they get significantly more points. Rozee vs the bombers tonight could go well and if he tidies his DE up he’ll be back up in scoring bracket. I’d save the trade.

Is Howes a trade out next week? If so, does that make Draper/Brown important this week?

Thinking if there are no DEF bubble boys next week I can go Sexton or Laz to Brown this week via Daicos, and open up an opportunity to get a MID or FWD next week for Howes.

Just frustrated with his circa 100 scores and see as a straight swap for Touk who has had his bye. Normal years wouldn’t do such sideways but sitting on middling premiums dropping cash in this season doesn’t seem agressive enough.

I have Green but not Steele, Steele was the next target.

Howes not a must sell next week but ideally I’d like to use his cash as he’s hit his peak for the next 2-3 weeks and if wanting more cash generation out of him it will take 4-5 weeks you would think.

If I could grab Brown or Draper this week and still move Howes out in future weeks, I definitely would, assuming you grab Darcy too who seems a higher priority than Brown/Draper.

3 Options I am now considering

Option 1 - Sexton, Fyfe & Fisher > Darcy, Whitfield & M King - will mean I have to take Howes as I have Coffield & Reif

Option 2 - Coffield, Fyfe & Fisher > Darcy, Steele & Draper - means I can use Sexton as a loophole this round

Option 3 - Sexton, Fyfe & Fisher > Darcy, Martin, and M King - means I take Howes again

Think I'm sticking with planned trades, delaying a Fyfe to Steele doesnt feel worth it to get Coffield to Brown and maybe gain 20 to 30 points on Howes score, ripping my side up to go all the way to a premo back also isn't practical.

Gut feel is Fyfe to Steele gains me just as many points and can deal with D6 at a later point due to the upcoming best 18s and being able to move Roberts or McKercher back.
Think I'm the same.
Fyfe + Jordon to Flanders + Darcy

Flanders should rise in price by more than Fyfe and Jordon put together. Sexton dropped was half expected but gives me the ability to loop Darcy and Cadman so suspect I should get a slightly better points output on the trade too.

Lazzaro the only other annoyance especially as he has no loop value but not worth using a boost for that - rather wait a week and see if he squeezes back in.

Powell quite comfortably.

If King scores sub sixty or sub eighty in the following matches, what is the plan when the ton exits his price cycle?

Will he be prioritised as a trade out over deadwood (omitted rookies, loopholes, etc) or injured players?

1st trade: Sexton to Darcy done.
2nd trade, either:
Fyfe to Powell, or
Fyfe to Touk.

Fyfe to Powell leaves me with around 200k in the kitty, however I'm still not completely sold on Powell being a top 8 fwd.

Stuck big time on this one, so would appreciate anyone who has strong thoughts either way.
Touk option. Looks to be capable of being a top 5 mid, will likley be over 600k for most of the season.

Tough predicament with LDU losing money. Don't usually like sideway trading. I presume you took Howes' score, if so, might be worth doing LDU to Green, otherwise Coffield to Brown if on field.

Powell for me
Has a good role and getting plenty of it. Only key fwd's worth getting are those who play up the ground and get 15+ per game
I agree, Powell comfortably - but equally, I would love to see King become a modern day N Riewoldt from an SC perspective - it's getting boring picking mids who happen to have a FWD classification each year!

I like this idea.

Jordon (who has largely stalled, plus Adams back) > Brown/Draper (plus Sexton > Darcy), and then Howes goes out for a midfielder premium next week. It opens up the team nicely while getting a better scoring option as D6 (thanks PinkReid).
