Plan was to bring him in this week but significant role change has me worried. Can he get DEF status later down the track or is he limited now to MID/FWD?

2 positions max, no Def. Besides Fwd is where you'd put him when complete anyway.

Yeah I already have him so glad he maintained his scoring, but I'm unsure whether it will continue.
As far as I know I believe he is stuck with mid/ fwd status for 2024 now.

As much as I want the cash from Howes he’s still projected to make a fair bit more…just having PTSD from trading Wilmot too early last year 🥴
All comes down to what the cash gets you now though I guess

If you can move Jackson into the rucks then Meek is probably a bad pick. Lot more points and money elsewhere.

He’ll be a MID/FWD for the duration of the season.

I'm in the same boat having Jackson but have decided to hold Grundy for the time being, yes, he's not performing to the level of an English or Marshall but for me he was never meant to. I started him priced at 82, he's going at 103 and to me that's a win. He will have to be upgraded eventually, but I have bigger fish to fry.
I've thought about moving Jackson to R2 and using Grundy's cash somewhere else but I'm concerned that I'm painting myself into a corner. I'm expecting Jackson's output to drop once Shrek is back to a level that's still in forward keeper territory, certainly not in the territory that I want from my R2.
So what's the fallback position when R2 demands an English/Gawn/Marshall? That's a hell of a lot of cash to stump up if Jackson is to move back to the forwards and is going to be extremely hard to find with the 2nd or 3rd tranche of rookies. The opportunity cost of bringing in a top 3 ruck over the byes (for example) is large and very limiting.
If Jackson is used as the vehicle to upgrade to a top 3 ruck then he's being eliminated from the forwards equation unless he's brought back in, that could be on very short notice particularly if Shrek goes down again.

He only continues to make money if he scores 60 or more every week, and he seems to be dropping away in that department, pretty slow burn even if he does, I think Howes to Brown would be a reasonable trade if you think Brown is worth it and will score well enough.
Clohesy is someone everyone will be getting in either this week or next, this week if they want the potential good score.
I've still got Howes, would get rid of Coffield and Pink before Howes.

Bit of chatter around Clarry.

My 2 cents is that he’s fairly unlikely to be relevant all season. He’ll continue to build his fitness base and have his TOG managed. I just can’t see him scoring well enough to be a viable mid premium especially with so many other viable options available. Should be able to buy him for less than 500k but I don’t really see the point when he’s likely to go at 100 at best.

Petracca is the man if going for a Dees premium mid this season. A likely inclusion for my team at some point.

I think it's a good hold, I'd have rather done that than held or bought Pink.
I reckon there's a place for him when he's ready to return.

I wouldn't know if you're doing it wrong or not mate, for I am bad at Supercoach. Dunno if you've seen Jackson's B/E lately but it's 152 which means he could start dropping cash soon, might be better to do that sooner rather than later.
