On a scale of 1-10, how silly is Grundy, Jackson and Howes to Clohesy, Steele and Gawn? Team for reference. View attachment 70938
Have cooled on trading out Grundy and Jackson - to be honest, I don't think it strengthens my team as much as I want it to.

However, I am looking at Howes, McKercher and D'Ambrosio to Clohesy, Steele and... someone (needs to be under 179k).

I am at a loss this week to be honest. Had a great week last week, gut says I could be conservative but I don't want to get left behind...

How about Grundy, Howes, and Windsor to Steele/Martin, Clohesy, and Comben? Does that work?

Why do you want to keep Grundy? McKercher and Massimo can do at least 1-2 more weeks.

Could do this, feels aggressive and early on Thomas and Ramsden but gets rid of two rookies before their bye next week and gets Steele in who’s a must have.
Or will just do Howes to Clohesy and wait a week. Thoughts?

How do people feel about trading LDU for Steele this week. Only 20k difference between the two but that will change exponentially soon.

LDU doesn't look interested so far this season, Steele looks amazing...
Im very close to doing this. The other concerning factor for LDU is Xerri, who currently has about 30% less HTA than goldy had last year.

was considering mckercher damborisio grundy for clohesly martin and gawn similar to you

but have settled on a simple grundy hore to gawn clohesly instead. not sure i want to hop off mckercher dambrosio this early. giving them both one more week

Ranked 2,500 ish... can't decide between..

Massimo, Howes and Roberts (Bye) > Cloeshy, Graham (DPP) and Tom Green - leaving $5k ITB -

OR

Massimo, Howes and Roberts > Cloehsy, Graham and Whitfield/Steele/Martin - leaving approx $100k ITB for future upgrades.

The allure of having a MID of Bont, Petracca, Butters, Touk and Green - 5 heavy hitters might be too much to ignore.. at Rd 5.

Alternatively can go for value upgrades in Martin (will see a lot of the footy even if his DE is questionable and guaranteed DPP) Steele looks to be back to good form and Whitfield will fill out the DEF nicely, 1 short of 6 premos..

Purely his price will help unlock an upgrade, rather than decimating my FWD line trading out Fisher.. He's on the bye and his BE suggests he's prob got not much cash left to make.

Pink > Clohesy
Howes > Green

Not hugely keen on that first trade a week early but it does open up getting Green (or Merrett) instead of Rozee, which is mighty more tempting.

Thoughts on Jackson > Xerri - Howes > Clohesy - McKercher > Steele

I'm warming to Xerri given Shrek's return and CCJ going down at North, but reckon McKercher has more $ to make and DDP status.
Keen to get everyone's thoughts?

Cooled off on trading Grundy to Meek. However after Howes, jordan to clohsey trades I can afford a rookie to meek for 2 weeks to cover grawndy over 2 weeks and then pocket any meek profits just incase. Still feel more data on Meek is needed
Thats what I am doing. Sexton to Meek and Livingston onto the FWD bench

Edit: Then reverse it this evening if Sexton is picked.

Have cooled on trading Jackson. Still think trading is a perfectly fine idea but two things are stoping me. 1 is the lack of cheap premiums I feel comfortable with. Martin and Whitfield (my preferences) have big question marks themselves. And 2 is the upcoming run. Has been reported that Darcy will be eased into it which was fully expected, but he plays Port and WC which are arguably the two best ruck matchups.

Jordon > Steele
Billings > Clohesy
Howes > Comben/Graham

If I go for Comben he will be fielded. If I go for Graham, Brown will be fielded. Think I’ll be going for Graham at this stage. Brown v WC is a great matchup and I get an extra 110k in case things go pear-shaped this week.

This is tempting me. Just need to think my way through whether I see NWM being capable of averaging 100 and holding down D6. Thoughts?

Howes/Jordon/Coffield > NWM/Graham/Clohesy with 1k spare.
