Highest score in the game last night was 108, so I'm willing to just forget the game existed all together.
Not from a SC perspective but from that of a Bombers supporter it reflects a team effort, pressure was great - which is a relief after last week. Goldy, Durham and Merrett were great... Bevo unlucky to miss votes.

Just saw the footage of Libba collapsing and subsequent bulldust that it was an ankle tweak which caused him to lose balance. It's as plain as the nose on my face that it was a serious issue, serious enough in fact that Parish immediately signalled for the medicos, you don't do that if someone just falls over.
Stringer absolutely clobber him in a tackle a few minutes earlier.

All this talk about Libba being concussed and the Dogs playing it off as a sore ankle …

Why can’t it be bruised ribs from a big Stringer hit and the Dogs playing it off as a sore ankle?

If one of my key inside mids had sore ribs and the plan was to jab him and keep playing him, I wouldn’t be shouting that from the rooftops.

game over, only a couple of minutes to go, Big Jake attacked Libba like it was the first minute of a GF, he was clearly making some kind of a statement!

He's not, it's an impostor. The real Beveridge died in a motor accident in 2019.

If you play the Dogs club song backward you can hear the backmasked message "... that's not Bev ... that's not Bev ..."
So that's why Lennon wrote: "Hey Bulldog". It's all Coming Together. This song does make more sense than Bev's coaching.

"You think you know me but you haven't got a clue."

Feeling for Dogs supporters - surreal coaching.

John Lennon's lad was a Liverpool man. John didn't follow the football to any great extent, but after the Beatles broke up in 1970 his ego got the better of him and he spent a lot of his free time over the next decade trying to win a couple of "dream team" football manager comps being run for the First Division.

In fact, that's why his fifth (and final) studio album in 1980 was named "Double Fantasy".

Lol. Pretty spot on: "Plastic ono Band" runner up to "All things must pass", and was John annoyed about that... (both are brilliant IMO and everything goes down hill from there.)

Completely serious: when I read your response I was listening to "Nobody Told Me"... outtake from Double Fantasy, and posthumously released on Milk and Honey - great song that also fits the crazy narrative*

*Seems like we would have a lot to talk about. Coaches, Managers... always causing trouble. Klein took the cake though.
