Brought Marshall in this week, but getting the generationally low English game has made me reconsider if I just go to Meek.

English should drop pretty heavily and although he's got a bigger ruck split with Darcy, I'm wondering if I just wait for him now.
English wildly out of form, scores have been pretty flattering the last few weeks. I was all set to grab Marshall but am reconsidering as well. Were banking on 2 things one that Meek doesn’t get monstered by Witts to stall him and secondly that English is worth waiting for. Very hard one to measure both ways. Only one of the two has to fail for it to be a complete failure.

Marshall’s run the next few is pretty decent and he’ll likely end up north of 650 in a couple weeks and we’ll be having the same discussion around him as we are with English now.

Same boat - can’t decide if I go Grundy to Marshall or wait for English now. Still slightly leaning towards Marshall because Grundy is a zero this week, and the jury is out on how Darcy will affect English’s scoring.

Can Marshall get close enough to English for the rest of the year? Can we justify holding Grundy with two byes to come?

Jez Cameron is an interesting one... not sure of the motivation to the trade tbh.

Predicting a spike score?
Hopeful for a spike score but also that he's a sneaky good F6. Might be too early for those adds though. Maybe Meek is more lucrative, for now.

TBD!

I’m looking at Liam Baker this round on a somewhat similar basis. May be worth considering.

Positives:
- Fairly cheap
- Low BE
- Taranto and Ross have just got injured, opening up mid time for 1-2 Tigers?
- DPP
- Could be a fairly high level FWD without much scoring improvement
- Break last week due to suspension
- Playing West Coast

Negatives:
- Not an established premium
- Bye next round
- Has trained with a bandage on his knee this week
- Hopper and Prestia seemingly a few weeks away

Good target, same vein as Cameron. He's shown a high ceiling for scoring on his day, too. Tigers could use some toughness in the mids.

If it goes well, you get a 'premium' (F6) for a cheap price and save a trade (compared to getting Meek in, moving him out later, for example).

Still torn which type of deal to make.

Thanks - it sounds like we are thinking along similar lines.

One other nuance with Baker is that I can actually decide after seeing all other scores this round, given he plays last and my other involved players are Swans (bye) and Eagles (Baker’s opponent).

Dimma is developing him as the Vlastuin type down back. If you're soft at the ball - Dimma will remove you pretty quickly - example Sexton.
Was surprised he was played. Looks like another Constable experiment to give him one last chance before delisting

If I trade, step 1 is: Jordan (other and more options include Carroll; Clark; Massimo...)

JHF is looking more and more like an interesting one for me - could go Jordan > JHF... I'm wary of his opposition against which he has scored well; and injury; and Wines - but he's sure to make money... would be a stepping stone with potential keeper...

Liam Baker is the other one I'm looking at.

Clothesline, Comben and Graham as well, on the rookie level.

Have obviously missed the Steele train for another week...

Time space continuum closing fast...

What rookies will we have on the bubble next round?
I know we have Clohesy and Graham…( don’t really count Comben as a rookie with his price)…
Any others to Consider?

Why not Wilmot? Averages the same as Baker. Is ranked in DEF about the same. Consistent scores. But u save $50k.

Went to the game last night (Suns v Hawks) - and a few earlier thoughts turned out to be correct.
Graham will be a keeper in the Suns side - a nice bench mid while he makes some money.
Clohesy another and worthy of a spot in the best 22 side if he maintains that sort of form.
D'Ambrosio is a hold for another few weeks based on that game
Uwland and Mac Andrew are also locks in the Suns side - so watch their growth. Probably too late to draft in but future alerts I'd say.
Nothing much else from the Hawks - pretty awful overall. I like Newcombe but he just doesn't quite get there regularly enough.
This week's watch if Dimma stays true to form - Jake Rogers to replace Rosas (injured).

Thank you - I am pretty stacked down back, so I’m keen to add a FWD if possible, or perhaps a MID.

I’m actually thinking of pivoting to Bolton, as @Santoz suggested. Maybe less role upside, but a better scoring history - he’s been a top 6 FWD on aggregate twice before.
