I don't want to talk anyone out of Walsh because he was huge yesterday but the second game is the one to watch IMO after an injury and layoff like he's had. He could pull up a bit sore and still a tough game against GWS so he's a watch next week for me.

Clark -> Graham
Sexton -> Comben
McKercher -> N.Martin/Walsh

Could bring in a forward but honestly having Flanders and Heeney I can’t even find a guaranteed top 6 forward. Not keen on Jackson at his price before seeing him with Darcy.

Any forwards anyone is targeting?

Howes / Cadman / McKercher to Graham / Sellers(?) / Butters!

(went early on Clohesy and Comben)

McKercher’s caused a rethink of these plans. Will need to swap Sellers to a 124k rookie (McAullife, Nyuon, Drury) I may get there with Wehr over Howes, fingers crossed!

Totally agree.

Even if the likes of , Clohesy , D'Ambrosio , Williams (all that I own that need to be eventually upgraded) get to the $ 350-375k mark still going to be looking at trying to find $ 200k ish each to get them to a Sicily , Sinclair , Stewart , fingers crossed Clohesy is a D keeper.

Not sure where I am finding that sort of cash.

Been tracking the 3 S's each round though through the projections on Footywire.

Already realise Ryan won't be in my team this season.

Starting and trading out Martin is looking worse and worse (in hindsight)

I doubt I will have enough cash after :-

Campbell - > Graham
Cadman - > Player X
Reid , H - Player Y

to even be able to get both Walsh & Petracca.

So then it's a waiting game until Brown , Clark 😲 , Graham , Wilson + the unknown Player X & Y generate enough cash for further upgrades.

Hence why I have been looking at May , to see whether he offers some value as a trade in.

Also been tracking D Cameron & Witts as ruck options along with the usual suspects in the mids like Dawson , LDU , Oliver & Parish may get to cheap to totally ignored

Again ideally I would love to be able to bring in guys like Dunkley & Gulden along with Walsh & Petracca and end up with that "perfect" team.

Without the funds though it ain't going to happen.

Just go through everything at the end of the round like usual and go through averages , BE , price projections etc etc and see what options are available for my team and circumstances.

Need some more info on injuries to King and Meek as well.
King has to go regardless. He's not a keeper and will bleed cash in coming weeks. Made 50k, but a failed experiment for me.

Is this a good week for a triple downgrade?

Thinking 2 rookies and Comben?

Or ideally would like a mid premo but i think thats next weeks plan?

I'm leaning the same way myself. Not closed minded to a triple down, albeit I already have Graham. Aim is to add ideally 2 premos by rd7

Looking at McKercher, Jordan, and Cadman for Graham, Comben, and Serong (leaves 115k ITB). Really want Walsh, but very wary Carlton will have a very conservative approach and feel he will be managed a fair amount this season

Will look to get Nyuon and Diacos next week. Sharp, Sanders, Sexton, Howes the likely avenues

Anyone skipping Comben? Could the 75 help scored today be more the norm than the 100 average he's currently holding over two games? Or that def/fwd swing too valuable?

Seems everyone is adding him.

Thinking Sanders will continue to be a sub risk and could go 80,40,80,40 type pattern so maybe time to cull, thanks to crazy Bevo.

Would allow Fyfe to Walsh
Liber out makes me hopefully sanders might get a full game. Will know Thursday night. If he's not starting sub i will keep sanders. He has scored really well when not subbed. If he can go 3 games in a row without being subbed i reckon he could average 80 through the 3 weeks and make another 50. But yeah Bevo could do anything. Might even drop him as a lesson after he sulked when subbed
