Not actually sure what to do now, can upgrade Sanders but my budgets only 616K, dont particularly like Walsh with the injury risk.

Could get a defender I guess but Stewart will drop in price and not a huge fan of any other option.

Sanders > Rankine
McKercher > Comben
62k bank

Rankine has been settled for a couple days now. Nicks coming out and saying they’d like to use him more in centre bounces today has just locked it in. Comben should make some quick cash. Not confident in his body but the popularity of the pick makes it hard to chance it because he’s likely making 150k if his body holds up. McKercher will make more money this year but I want to be aggressive and that cash is a while away.

McKercher is an easy sell. Should make more money but I want to be aggressive and it’ll take a while to earn that cash. Was going to sell Bonner but Sanders sub has changed that plan. Unfortunate but nearly everyone is affected by it.

May boost Campbell to McAuliffe to squeeze in more rookie slots for next week. Can have a look at a few games first (Garcia mainly).

If all goes to plan I should be able to grab Daicos or Walsh next round, Bont and English round 8, and Petracca round 9.

You don't want McKercher losing cash though , I would go

McKercher - > Garcia (links with Wilson)
Sanders - > Graham

Get that Bank growing to take advantage of all the fallen premiums about to be available
Going early on Garcia scares me. Will probably investigate if there's a short term option for McKercher, if I hold it's a multi week play. (As would holding Sanders). Both will end up somewhere above their current value, but short term will go the wrong way.

Mckercher -> Powell
Clark -> Graham

200k bank atm.

Next week:
Carroll/Sanders -> Walsh
Cadman/Sexton/Sanders -> Nyuon

Think I’ll pass on Comben.

Quick amendment to previous trades, out Sanders welcome back Dempsey, rest stay the same with Howes/Brown out for Graham/Biggie and Young in. With so many popular rookies stalling due to sub or just dead weights in defence I can’t afford to lose the 120k Sanders has put on, would have loved to of kept him but not to be.

Really unsure what to do this week.

Do I hitch myself to the Marshall train and go without Max? Can get these done with $2K spare…

Annoyingly can’t have Windsor as the out over Cadman who still possibly has some money to make with these trades.

Or do I look closer at Walsh straight in off the back of last week? And be able to hold Cadman over Windsor.

Alternatively, could just do McKercher to Graham, build the bank to $278K. Assess Garcia tonight as to whether he will be an option for next week, and maybe then pul, the trigger on a second trade this week going early on Biggy or Drury, to free up an extra trade next week for an upgrade and rookies?

Team as it stands after one trade, McKercher to Graham, $278K.

You're in a tough spot. Gawn might be the best player this year but also stalls your upgrade cadence. And English looks a shadow of 2023. Whatever you do won't feel like a win. As much as it hurts to watch Gawn I think Marshall is a good pick and you could slingshot English to Gawn during the next lot of byes.

Fair enough , up to you.

fwiw I just went Sanders - > Garcia myself as a third trade

Gives me dollars to play with and more options for next round

Who knows how Garcia scores or if Drury or Nyuon provide downgrade options next round.

Good luck with it

I've had quite a few scenarios on the table this week and Sanders sub has just cleared it all up. Happy now, but could have been happy at the start of the week! 🙄

Rankine has been the plan for me next week, liked what I saw after Nicks said he wanted to change up the midfield last week, this weeks comments are an affirmation.

I'd wait on McAuliffe until you see him named for round 8, Hopper and Prestia are close to returning
