2 big scores in a row, one without Crouch and one against North. Back to only 60% CBAs this week after being in 80% the week before, two weeks in the 50s before the Essendon non-Crouch spike.
Obviously offers really good value but can get go 110+ with the heavy midfield rotations at the Crows?
Good junior numbers and out of their academy I think its highly probable that they keep playing him, they arent exactly stacked for talent in the role he plays either.
Just on Rozee, some of you may recall an article on the old Twitter 2 years ago showing that during upgrade time you are better off holding injured premiums and doing your normal upgrades around them. Provided you have downgrade opportunities which I think we have.
Worth crunching your own numbers on for your team.
It does seem counter intuitive but the numbers didn’t lie.

Im just meh on him, is the only premo mid I could afford this week, contemplating just going double down to Rogers and Garcia and sitting on cash for the moment.

Agreed. I already have one of that type in my midfield with LDU, couldn't afford another. I reckon he will be a yo yo for the rest of the season (and probably his career) for SC.

There's a good post somewhere with Jaiden Popowski's analysis on him. Has more tough games up until rnd 12 and then his draw opens up. Rnd 15 bye is not ideal as it would be preferred to trade in premiums at that time after their bye.
Yeo very pricey! Esp considering the injury risk. I got him $80k cheaper but still a bit nervous.
You’ve got Serong and/or Butters?
And have you got rookies you can trade instead of Powell? I feel we should be upgrading him last once the first year rookies are upgraded.

Cadman out and Sweet in is locked. The plan being have Sweet R3 since he plays Thurs (swing Livingston forward for Cadman). If Sweet performs well this week, I’ll trade Meek (moving Livingston to R2)
Depending on what rookies look good later this week, may Tripple downgrade. Green my number 1 target, along with Dale. Trades will be dependant on if I get Meeks money
Having slept on this I think I need to go Powell and Sexton to Sweet and Dale, moving Reid to forwards and Roberts to mids. If I got rid of Dempsey instead of Sexton, my forward bench would be Livingston and Sexton, meaning that R. Garcia would have to be F6, which leaves me too exposed to his vest potential. I'm choosing to keep Dempsey over Powell due to vast differences in breakeven and potential for cash loss. Watch Clarko put Powell back into the mids this week and his scores shoot back up. Then watch Bevo change Dale's role.
If Rozee is only out for a week or two then I can cover him looping Wilson and Graham, any more and he probably has to be boosted out.

Have got Serong but not Butters. Just feel like the defence line needs an upgrade as have 7/8 premiums in midfield. Can’t afford Ryan, however could wait a week for Stewart as Yeo is pricey, can just go very big!
No other rookies look right for culling, either too early or have restarted their cash gen (Wilson, Darcy).
But after averaging 117 over the first six rounds does the perceived injury risk magically disappear and given the proposition was too risky at sub $450k, what has changed at $610k?
Starts at 0, so will need to sustain this for an extended period and avoid missing matches to provide a solid return on investment relative to the alternatives.

You’re never going to be able to time rookie cash outs perfectly. Once over $300k I reckon they are fair game if it gets you the premium you want. You are going to trade them eventually. Points on board can’t be taken away from you.
Don’t be reckless of course but don’t be overly patient trying to get them all out at the perfect time.
I wouldn’t feel bad trading Darcy this round for example. Not ideal but he won’t get 3 goals every week.
Unless you’re more leagues focussed.
After the worst performance during a round since I can remember, I need to make wholesale changes so here they are;
OUT: Rozee (inj), R Marshall, Massimo
IN: T Green, Gawn, B Dale
Brought in Sweet last round. R Garcia would have been sub if Libba wasn’t a late out and Rogers was great last round but won’t play WC every week and scored just 28 on debut. I don’t see either Garcia or Rogers as must-haves.
Appears to be plenty of downgrade options the following round with some impressive showings from several playing their first matches of the season last round.
