Happy with that in what can only be described as a messy round.
I have been beating myself up all day for having Reid in the mids last night when I had 4 forwards playing today and no bench cover. Of course Fyfe then named sub which meant I had to field him rather than bench him for Rogers. Net cost 7 points.
ps. …and I beat Mike Hussey.

Didn’t think things could get any worse than last round. The SC Gods had other ideas.
Traded a banged up Steele for a fit Green for a loss of 107 points.
Fielded the higher averaging Clohesy over Wilson for a loss of 81 points.
Initial plans were to go Gawn into Serong as Captain but with the Pies midfield outs I changed it to Walsh into Gawn for a loss of 26 points.
These moves reversed and I win 14/15 league matches instead of just the three that I actually won. An improvement on last round’s one win I guess! 😂
In addition to Green, add in a further 6 scores on field under 60 including the injured Rozee and it’s just a recipe for absolute disaster.
It’s bound to turn around next round, it just has to. 🙏

Glad to get out of this round with a semi reasonable score considering the carnage.
Green 5, Fyfe sub score just to name a few amongst the poor rookie scores…
Ryan amazing with his 197 and skipper Bont came to the rescue…
