That is why i'm not a fan of DGR exclusive to certain teams.

Tend to just follow the fixtures round by round and end up bypassing a lot of SGR premiums.

I can't stress enough how weird it feels to play this way after years of playing with a smaller squad and multiple donuts. Really hardcore maximising the doubles is not something that's ever really been in my wheelhouse.

And yet, I finished round 8 (the last SGR) in 26th, and since switching focus purely to doubles have moved up to 15th... So it seems to be working, or at least several other teams have failed to understand the assignment!

A lot of luck is involved too, the simple decision of going Klaasen and not Head as VC cost me 157 points and put me in 34th instead of 21st, which is brutal when you've been playing for the past 9 weeks and 1 game can derail you

It's a weird one.

I have been trying loops on lines the last few rounds and end up confusing myself more and more.

I think the first few seasons I played many of the Top 10 coaches adopted the 2-3 deliberate 🍩 strategy.

It will be weird not having anything to do over the next three nights even though I have so many playing.

It will be interesting to see what first has done. He will need to have fielded four of Kohli (52), Gaikwad (66), Faf (18), Rahul (yet to play), Jadeja (25) or Bumrah (50). None of them have gone big with just Rahul to play, I hope that he kept a couple of the lower scoring ones. He has probably nailed his DGR trade ins though!

This is repeated among several other spinners. Ashwin is possibly the most extreme example, with 5 wickets in his last two games but only 2 in 10 prior to that! Chawla is also similar which is infuriating as last year he was a massive burn man.

This is about when I tried to bring in spinners last year expecting the tracks to slow down as they have here. If that pattern had followed last year I may well have won!
