Wow, that tightened things up much more than expected!

Up 6 places to 9th. Only 180 off the money...

So now the question is how rogue to play it? Most people in the top 15 (aside from 12th, who has no SRH at all!) have 4-5 SRH and three trades to go to 7-8.

A lot hinges on selection tonight.

Woo hoo, go @Herbie66 even I will be cheering you home!

The door is still ajar, so if you zig, I’ll zag and hopefully one of us will run down the Big Focka when he looks over the wrong shoulder.

I will be going for all or nothing, so the money position will definitely be open for those behind me!

Big Focka likes his Indian spinners by the look of things , traded in Ashwin , Chahal & Kuldeep , thank goodness he didn't trade in Axar as well , went with Fraser-McGurk as the 4th Trade

I might have used up most of my luck last night with Curran.

Looking at recent scores the play might not to have 7-8 SRH , and look elsewhere , who I have no idea

I only have 10 available to play at the moment before trades (no boost) so may not have a lot of flexibility

Currently have 10 the same as Big Focka , hope he is lurking around and tells us what he is going to do :)

If we both have 7 SRH + Narine & Russell it will all come down to C choice + 10th & 11th player.

King Kohli @ Chinnaswamy in a must win game

+ Chahal , du Plessis , Jadeja , Natarajan , Rahul

Only 3 Bat/WK so he probably can only field one of Rahul/Samson in any case.

But I can't control what others will do so just hope I make the right decisions and it falls into place

I will give you an example. He has a few players such as Natarajan, Kohli, Faf, Rahul, Jadeja and Chahal who neither of us have, so we may choose to take them on. Naturally he will trade out some of those which makes it tough to forecast, but we may choose to take on one or two of those players with a different player each.

Captain is the other one. I am 90% sure he will run with Head given he has previously. If we both choose to take Head on with an alternative captain we may want to make sure that we don't choose the same alternative.

At the end of the day it comes down to what your ultimate aim is. If it is to finish as well as you can, you may choose to ignore what he might do and be happy locking in second or third. If it is to try and take him on it will require a couple of risks to open up PODs.

My guess is that he will trade one of Kohli or Faf and play a loop on the other. He may loop Klassen and use Rahul as the backup, but that will be hard given Lucknow play second, so he may hold a trade for that. He may also loop Jadeja, but he could field him and loop a fringe SRH player instead and use a couple of Ashwin, Chahal, Narine and Russell as the back ups and field two of them.

So many combinations, but it is fun trying to second guess!

Before Trades

$1,623,000..00
SALARY LEFT

Ridculous
I only have $1.1m ... I feel poor!
I will do a full debrief on this season after it's finished but one of the themes I intend to touch on is the fact that I made a series of decisions intended purely to make money early in the season and I have still ended up a cool million or more behind you guys! (I have approximately 12m value including cash.)

A solid chunk of this can be put purely down to not trusting Rishabh Pant's body to get through the whole season - in the end, the only game he missed was for the suspension!
