Krueger v Dowling ? Who’s first picked ?
Dowling for mine - he can certainly find the ball, just needs to be a bit more composed which should happen now that the first game jitters are done. Very impressive numbers in the reserves this year before last week's debut. Krueger's injury history is a big concern for mine

Hoping El-Hawli from the bombers VFL gets a gig soon after being a mid year draftee. Absolutely killing it in the reserves, had 27 touches and 4 goals on the weekend. Would be a nice downgrade option

Mid-season draftee Saad El-Hawli will have surgery this week after scans confirmed a syndesmosis injury that will sideline him for the next 6-8 weeks.
El-Hawli was taken from the ground during the fourth quarter of his best-on-ground effort in the VFL's three-point win over Carlton after getting his ankle trapped underneath him in a contest, with scans on Monday morning revealing the extent of the injury.

Contemplating a couple of upgrades with the lack of rookies to go down to.

Maybe Holmes and Walsh to Ryan and Neale. Wish I could get Stewart to Ryan though.

Any interest in these more affordable premos?:
Ed Richards:
maybe after his bye, maybe before.
Will Day: another R15 bye player, in superb form, Hawks on the improve.
Jake Waterman: other than the Adelaide game, been very good, top 6 forward.

All three look like having good draws ahead.

Think its a pretty firm example of how reactive the SC community is, chasing points on a winger about to play GWS and Freo again that just kept him to 90s.
So do you not even think he's worth a shot considering what he did last year?
Is anyone bringing Gulden in just over-reacting?
Who do you think might be a better option for less than 585?

Unless you're missing one of the top mids I really dont see the point, would have to use 2 trades as all the underperforming mids are worth nothing to likely only gain 100-150 points from here thats not worth the trades when most people are low with nearly half the season still to come.

People do this every year then get to Round 20 and run out of trades.
Depends on the situation. If no rookies on field and planning a few luxury trades at some point. Now on a bye is the perfect time.

Looking to sideways one of Martin, Stewart or Oliver, just not sure who yet.

Option
Moyle to Dowling
Oliver to Serong/Dunkley

Extra two this week plus pretty confident Serong/Dunkley will score more than Oliver. But no guarantees of course .

Walsh will come good mate, draw opens up a bit and should just get fitter as the season continues. In my team and not on my list of dodgy premiums yet.

Edit - Apparently Carlton have the second easiest draw for the rest of the year, saw that on one of the Foxtel footy shows.

Yeah, he’s almost certainly the 8th in line in defence when Powell returns so I think it’s likely he gets dropped or possibly sub. Such a shame as he has been scoring so well.

For my particular circumstances I need his cash to get to full premium anyway.
Yes, it's my dilemma, i'd love to hold him as my 23rd "premo" if he keeps his role i can see him averaging 85 to finish the year which is great cover. Uwland having the best game of his career the week before powell comes back is super annoying. Flanders did play very well as a high half fwd and jeffrey has also played forward plenty so would it isn't impossible that Sexton keeps his current role. I think i can afford to hold him and at least look at how he goes with Powell back given his BE of 51. If he is sub or dropped for rnd 15 i'll just trade him out.

Yeah just playing around to see what I can do. I can do Moyle to Krueger and Stewart to Zorko. That way I keep Walsh and Holmes who I’m enjoying watching. Zorko could have a day out vs Saints.

Good chance he'll be a straight swap to Rozee next week if you need a bail out that still gives you 23rd premo vibes.

Have the cash to go Sexton > Bolton but would need to do it this week with Bolton’s low BE … tempting. I am fine for round 15 bye players but don’t want waste a trade (Sexton keeping his role for example)

Trouble with Rozee without the dpp can only really cover the 8 mids. I like the Rozee as an in but just not as effective as a m/f which with a few links can cover every position.

Best sub 560k defender? Have Ryan, Daicos, Sheezel, NWM, Dale and need a 6th slot. Hesitant for Houston this week with his current BE (could still wait). Need to get off Comben more than anything.
