Going to be an interesting selection table for this weeks GF:
YRA Considerations
Defenders
Locked: Whitfield, Holmes (MID), Powell, Duggan, Vlastuin.
Likely: Idun, Andrews.
Pushing: Duncan, Cox, Henry.
Andrews has foot in door, season average of 85 up against the pies who tend to give up a few points to intercepting defenders.
Mitch Duncan: Supercoach beast, season average of 84, lowest in a decade. Coming of a stinker the concern.
Brennan Cox: 93,84 last two weeks, taken some of the cheap marks and kicks Ryan was getting first half of the year.
Jack Henry: 3 80's in a row, playing backline in a stabilised Cats defence.
Mids
Locked: Libba, MILLER, Laird, Holmes, Rowbottom.
Likely: J Daicos, Pendles, Danger.
Pushing: Wood, Jones *2, Davies.
Danger appears the floor, averaging 83 and back to back 80s.
Wood: Averaging 80, however very poor last month averaging below 70
Z Jones: Shed the sub role last 5 games and averaging 86, would be M6 if sub vest was not a risk.
D Jones: Back to back 95+... either pick him and want it again, or death ride him and hope for a better 2yC!
Davies: Probably not in equation, but his playing decent mid minutes now which have seen him go 90 plus in 2 of his 3 games playing that role
Rucks
Lock: Witts
Likely: Comben
Pushing: Blicavs
Comben back to playing in defence, loves an intercept mark, very capable of 100 plus in this role.
Blicavs: Playing bit of everywhere, more mid and backline time helpful for scoring above 70.
Forwards
Locked: Heeney, Hogan, Cameron, CURNOW, MCKAY
Likely: Waterman, Greene, Jones
Pushing: Wood, Larkey, Davies, Caddy
If Curnow and Mckay don't play, last spot in 22 likely come down to one of:
Wood: Averaging 80, however very poor last month averaging below 70
D Jones: Back to back 95+... either pick him and want it again, or death ride him and hope for a better 2yC!
Larkey: Capable of a bag, Liam hones a concern?
Davies: Probably not in equation, but his playing decent mid minutes now which have seen him go 90 plus in 2 of his 3 games playing that role

Currently unchanged so unsure how to feel about that. Billings or Hill may force their way onfield in place of Chandler or Jordon in the meantime.

Grand Final Preview
The SCSUL |05 premiership will be a tussle between two first time protagonists the Yorkshire Republican Army and Creme De La Creme.
Both the Yorkshire Republican Army and Creme De La Creme spent the majority of the season in the top three of the competition ladder. The Army got off to a shaky start losing it's first two games of the season before bookending the conclusion with two losses. Creme De La Creme scatter a few losses in the middle of the season, ultimatley finishing atop of the ladder at season end..
The Yorkshire Republican Army caused the upset in the Semi Final against Creme De La Creme to make the big dance. Creme De La Creme bounced back defeating the reigning premiers Roppongian Rangers for a shot at the Cup.
Selection headaches?
- The Army will welcome back Touk Miller, Harris Andrews and Charlie Comben but lose forward pillars Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow to injury.
- The Creme will go in unchanged with Tom De Koning still out with injury. There are question marks over Jordan Clark in defense.
Key Matchups
- The Midfield Battle: The midfield battle looks evenly poised. The Army will be hoping Touk Miller fires after a long lay off backed by the ever reliable Rory Laird, whilst Creme will hope that evergreen Adam Treloar continues his recent form and that Andrew Brayshaw is on.
- The Ruck Battle: The Army hold the advantage wiith Jarrod Witts being the key, whilst the Creme will be hoping that Brodie Grundy can break out of his slump for the big day.
- Boom or Bust: Despite the injuries to big names the Army still hold the advantage in the forwards with Heeney, Hogan, Cameron, Waterman and Greene who have the potential to blow the game apart. I think our rules are written so that the higher placed team wins given a draw, and thus not written for every scenario, technically it would probably default to the Cremes though not the intention. Obviously, the extra round has given a replay a possibility.
So there is no controversy, if there is a draw The Army will win as they qualified first for the Grand Final.
