Glad i went back to Oliver/Toohey although Toohey not so great (will play him from the bench for the DGR)

Went Toohey

Tossed up between Oliver, Herrall, and Toohey all morning.

There were a few factors....
Basically finding someone for the bench...
I was going Harrell over Oliver/Toohey, he's very good but uncertain here
Harrell would be an amazing setup for RD3 and 4 too - wanted him so much.
Toohey over Oliver gives me $88k - hopefully he makes his BE

Harrell was the play

Was always the gamble with the Kings picks, will not surprise me if one of Cooks, Adams or Cam goes insane on any given night

Days 43, Olbrich 16 (32), Hickey 6 (11), Zikarsky 3 (5). Days and Olbrich excellent. Hickey scored ok but importantly got decent minutes. Zikarsky on the other hand didn’t get good minutes and is in the firing line.

Great start. For some reason I’ve had super good first rounds in nearly every format I’ve played over the past 6 months or so. Second rounds on the other hand, not so good. I’ll be looking to buck that trend.

Early trade thoughts are still Cotton down to Walton Jr and Pepper up to Loe. Cotton almost certainly will go. Could consider Ili up to Adams instead of Pepper to Loe if I really feel like I want him. Ili has the round 3 double though.

Harrell was great in his first game back from an ACL and makes me think i want to get him in. But his minutes clearly seems to be managed spending most of the last qtr on the bench. Makes me wonder if in his back to back double headers he plays really limited minutes or gets rested in the 2nd game.

Nervous about Pepper only getting 6 minutes. But hopefully he did enough to get a bit more time. He should make good cash although I already have Loe. Trading out Wieskamp and Harrison to Walton and ? - not enough for Days but considering Hunter.

Didn't end up entering a league here but just joined the group.Started off with 253(Cotton) and an opening round rank of 562, which I'm happy with given it was a fairly late decision to make a team and it's my first season doing NBL SC. Good luck to everyone this season, hopefully we can have some coaches up at the pointy end.

No pressure Harrell.

Could have started Days and Ili over Harrell and Bradshaw but likely would have only left bench trades to consider for RD2 (say Zikarsky and Henshall). Two toughest positions to settle on in the end and went in expecting to change it.

Olbrich excellent and a good end by Hickey leaving Zikarsky as the only real bench trade for RD2 or to boost out depending on breakevens in RD3.

127 with Oliver (C) and Harrell to come.

Harrell excellent and makes the hold or trade decision for RD2 very difficult. Ended up on 222 with Bradshaw and White the big letdowns.

For RD3, Makoi and Armstrong are under consideration from Cairns but unlikely to return to Bradshaw and for Adelaide it would be Harrell, Davis and Mayen. Using a boost now likely commits to using a second if I wish to have Cotton (C) in RD3 otherwise it likely means opting for Doyle instead for some exposure to Tas for their double by trading Walton Jr out.

Disappointing they didn't fix this... it would have been easy to do.

Not a fan of regular season games counting for nothing in a fantasy sense.

Yeah Harrell would be a good hold but hard too. Not sure if Zikarsky to Almansa is worth a boost. Won’t get you many points. He seems to be backup to Pinder which won’t get him many minutes
