Oops my bad. I just saw Robinson and jumped. Brian is pretty much fantasy irrelevant so wasn't expecting that tweet.
I think Brian is actually as relevant as Bijan - not in terms of ownership of course, 2% vs 49%, but in terms of scoring?
He is currently averaging a fair bit more than Bijan: 28.4 vs 22.8.
He is just as involved in the game as Bijan:
73 carries for 5 TDs and 11 targets vs 67 carries for one TD and 19 targets.
For mine, Bijan has a so-far unwarranted high ranking as a RB. IT's based on his college career and his high draft ranking.
He has been excused for less-than-premium scores in past years as due to having Arthur Smith as his coach.
But what about this year? He is currently the #26 RB in RDT scoring. Why?
I am somewhat sceptical about his "premium"status.
This week should be a decent test. He is up against the team ranked #31 against opposing RB.
RB team points when playing Carolina:
wk.05 - Swift 37, Johnson 29 = 66
wk.04 - C BRown 44, Moss 31 = 75
wk.02 - Dobbins 39, Edwards 11 = 50
wk.01 - Kamara 38, Williams 22 = 60
Wk.03 was the only week when opposing RBs didn't feast: Mattison and White combined for 29 points.
Now if Bijan is the true RB1 stud most pundits seem to think he is then he should score well this week. You'd expect at least 35+ from him, arguably more as Algeier is far less involved than Bijan: 33 carries and 6 targets this season.
I'm not saying he won't. I am saying I am yet to be convinced.
