The yo-yoing MN makes it hard to be accurate, but I will try if I get time.
Tyson adding himself to the list of Rookies that desperately wants to stay in everyone's SC team.
Damn it! How are we meant to do upgrades, when Rookies keep throwing in good scores, and lowering their B/E's!
Since you raised it Rowsus! :)

Doesn't have to be accurate for me. Given players score according to their average over the next 2 rounds when would they be closest in price? I've got Polec, Tyson, Aish, Dunstan, Langford, Langdon, Laidler, Ambrose, S Lloyd and Lewis Taylor. I'm thinking of Pendlebury, Selwood, Cloke, Petrie and Hurn. I think a lot of the above players would be common for many on this site and of great interest to the majority of the SCS community.

I'd give you some reps in return but what do you give the man who already has everything?

Hi Rowsus,

Hope Round 8 bye has been relatively kind. Considering a couple of players, wondering if you had a gut feel on value from this point on:

J. Harbrow - will go Enright first, but could he be a valid Plan B
J. Elliot
K. Tippett

Thanks.

G'day Rowsus. Thought our Dees were unlucky not to get up on Saturday night. Some crucial misses at goal late in the game and some downright terrible calls at in opportune times by the umpires cost us the game I thought.

Anyway, my question is would you be able to give me the approximate price of Polec and Higgins at the start of round 9? Will assist me with some early planning of my trades for next week. Thanks mate.

Rowsus sir, are you doing the breakevens table this week? Only asking because lockout isn't finished until Monday night.

This has also been posted at post #1 in the round 9 trades thread.

Hi sang,
round 8 has been very kind to me, thank you. I hope you can say the same.
My own opinion on each.
Harbrow is priced to about his average, and about what I expect him to score.
Elliott is actually priced over what I think he will score from here. Great pick up if you got him early, but too late to get on now. I seriously considered him as a POD pre-season, but his round 8 bye made him hard for me to take.
Tippett is also priced to about, or just over, what I think he'll give us, but is a big injury risk.
Good luck :)

Hi Ben,
Polec should be around $438,200 with a B/E of 54
Higgins should be around $408,500 with a B/E of 54

Hi Rowsus.

Out of the following players, who would you consider the best shot to hit a 95 avg by the end of the year?
- Houli
- H Taylor
- Enright

Cheers in advance :)

Hey rowsus how are things...

Quick couple of questions..

Thinking of going a little left field and bringing in Dal Santo this week. He is averaging 113 and his draw opens up in the second half of the season. Whats your opinion, and do you think swallow coming back will impact his scoring?

Secondly, i will be trading in either swan or beams this week. Any thoughts on who may average highest from this point on?

Thanks for all your hard work...

gday mate - i remember you identifying cunnington as a breakout contender. i think he has been solid in a inconsistent kanga team so far. you always advised after the byes he'd be a good pick up.

based on what he has done so far do / would you still advise him being a good pick? i like his price, by memory one major thing he had to improve was TOG % and most other stats were/are on an upward trend.

is paying extra for swan worth it? i'd rather try a POD, not picking swan just sounds risky, however i feel he is a fairly vanilla pick.

would appreciate any thoughts on ben cunnington from here on cheers mate

Hi Juzzo,
B Smith is well placed for his average. The question becomes, has he turned a corner, or are we getting swayed by a type of hot streak? 2 of his 3 good scores are against Melbourne and StKilda with the other against Port. It worries me that even against GWS and WB he scored poorly. I think there are too many questions marks to take him. He's a risk that could pay off, but I think the risk is too great.
Lynch has posted 2 good scores in his last 2 games, but there is nothing to indicate he can average 90+ from here, which is what you'd need to trade him in to your team.

Hi PC,
I think I'd be mildly surprised if any of them managed to reach 95 this season.
I'd also be surprised if any of them managed 95 from here on in, but my order for the most likely to manage that is:
Taylor, Enright, Houli.

Taylor has massive value if you think he is a better chance than Enright and Houli at getting anywhere near 95!

Hi Guys,
North definitely look like they have the potential to offer some value in the coming weeks.
Cunnington can benefit from their easier draw, but his TOG hasn't lifted as I hoped it might. I can't see that changing much in the near future.
Dal has got a really SC friendly role going on a North right now, and I don't think Swallow will affect it. It doesn't lend itself to monster scores, but he should be able to go 110-115 if he keeps going with it. Could make a nice POD.
Swan is probably now priced at about what he'll score, as is Beams. There are probably better value selections available, but not too many that will outscore them. If I had to choose one of Beams or Swan, it would be Swan, just.

I don't necessarily think he'll be the highest scorer of those 3, just the one that has the most potential to 95 from here. I'll be getting him this coming week.

Hi Row!
I've got Sam Mitchell and he's got to go this week for sure. Bartel and Swallow were always in my plans en route to completing my defense.
Questions is, who do I got for this round? Bartel or Swallow as priority?
I know Bartel is slightly overpriced but so is Swallow I would assume? And from memory, Swallow scored only 80 before his bye due to Bennell back in the squad?
Want to know your opinion on this, cheers!

I think it's been asked but wouldn't mind thoughts/analysis on bringing in Bartel this week. Especially in comparison to Enright. Cheers.

What is Swan currently priced at to score Rowsus? Think he can easily score 110-115 from here. Possibly even more. At his price I would still consider that value.
