How likely is Buckingham to play rd2? if Doggett is released for rd2 by the test team will he just take his spot? Dunno whether to start now or wait a week and cop a price rise to make sure he's playing rd2

Maybe it’s local bias, but Buckingham in my opinion is a Jet and will play a lot of test for Australia.

An easy selection based at his price.

Tim paine as a coach makes it a bit of an unknown, but buckingham would be my first choice if fully fit. Bloke has it all bloke is still raw but a class above the other seamers on the roster.

Better bats than McSweeney have looked pretty average against Bumrah. Would like to see him get a series against a different team to see how he goes. Pretty harsh to judge him when he’s facing the top bowler in world cricket at the moment.

Last minute tinkering see's me heading to the dark side and not starting Short.
Tried this last season and it was a massive fail but it looks as though I'm heading down that rabbit hole again.

It was also very difficult to get him back into my team once his boat had sailed.

Can only judge on who they are playing.

Our batting line-up has been ordinary for 12-18 months which doesn't help.

He actually makes Harris look decent 😅

I’m not sure how everyone else is approaching it, but I’ve left my trade planning for R2+ quite late, only coming to it yesterday.

My plans are less defined than they would normally be, I think because the Strikers have the best draw from R2+, I have Overton and will probably forgo Short - so there’s not a lot of big names to plan for. Scorchers have some but they’re not overly dear, which is good.

My outs are also tricky, largely because all of the teams I’m selecting from will have one (or in the Strikers’ case, two) doubles from R2-4. Ie I’ll be starting players in R1 that I have to trade out and forgo a double on.

At this stage my plan is to base my outs around players who have unexpectedly poor roles/JS or high BEs. I’ll trade one or more high priced players if I have to to get my preferred ins, but I’ll probably be clearing out the weaker Renegades and Stars for the most part.

I expect my ins will also be influenced by the same factors.

Ie playing the BE game, and following role (more so than early scoring per se) will probably dictate where those early trades end up landing.

Turner is Fit to play by all reports.?? if not there are a few Heat players i like at a price OR i may just bring in another Strikers assets for RD2.

If Doff fires up Zampa is gone.

Sixers assets for RD2 is the plan, (2 )sixers 1 heat ready for RD3. The Renegades players will be traded. Plan is only to hold Khan to RD5.

Still unsure on McKenzie (stars) getting both games RD1. What are the members thoughts on this. I have 94K ITB and really like the Edwards (sixers) price and potential for this season. ?

What is the thinking on carrying Khan to Round 5 ?
