A score of 986 sees me move up from 12th overall to 4th, nervous times. Trades last week ended up being Renshaw, McSweeney & J.Edwards -> T.Rogers, O'Neill & L.Scott. No issues with the trade outs but only 1 of the 3 trade ins pay off. Had exactly $0 to spare so was able to afford O'Neill, wish i was $100 short as Bethell was next in line for me. Was a mad rush when Short was named out. Settled on Scott with his cheap price, dpp and dgw potential. Luckily looped him and the other option was L.Pope who didnt fair much better.

Doggett the MVP of the round. Been carrying him since the start and have regretted it with his lack of dpp on my BWL bench causing some issues. Drops a 180 on a dgw as a 5% owned player in the top 1% is insane good luck. Special mentions to Thornton, Zampa and Rogers who all killed it. If i had of played S.Johsnon over Dwarsh i would be equal 1st which would be cool to be able to say even for just the one week but can't be too annoyed with some of the good luck i've copped.

Will look to get some Thunder players in this round and a potential sgw player with a good role. How tonights weather forecast looks will dictate a bit for me.

Might ask though with the recent discussion in deleting posts and whatnot. What’s the view from the leadership group on keeping all the duplicate ‘wicket xxx’ or ‘quick 20 xxx’ posts?

Given that we can see 4-5 at a time for popular players, it unnecessarily clutters and extends this thread more so than the duplicate teamlists posts which are actually useful.

Probably can’t really be helped if there’s commentary on the same event live.

The duplicate links to the same Twitter source have always been tidied up for a number of years across both AFL and BBL.

833 and surprisingly went up in the ranks, however, I made a couple of frustrating decisions this round.

1. When I saw that Short was out I traded him to Lynn, but then I saw Pope come out to open and changed to him at the last second, really wish I had just missed that lockout;
2. Picking JFM over Brown (felt like a 50/50 decision); and
3. Trading out Stoinis instead of Walter to get Owen's score.

I also feel that my team is in a poor position because of earlier decisions, such as starting Shaw over Doran and trading in Davies instead of Turner in round 2.

Feel as if my team is a bit of a mess, but we'll see what we can do to recover.

I have toyed with the idea of trading Overton out this round with his big BE and upcoming bye but it's obviously very risk and removes a C option

Afternoon All. First time, long time. I have previously had a couple of top 100 finishes and currently sitting around 1300th this year. But i am being upstaged by my 17yo son is in the Top 11 atm. If i couldnt breed a Doctor, the next best thing might be a SC winner. Here's hoping.🤞

Fair enough. My concern wasn’t with the duplicate teamlists, as we also have the addition of the teamlist announcement thread now so it makes perfect sense to delete the extras in here. Just thought there might have been the same diligence for other types of posts as well.

As an obviously very active member (obsessively active during this time of the year) I don’t miss very much at all on here but for the casual user who does use this as their one stop shop, the 20-40 extra posts that we don’t need lend themselves to causing those types of users missing important info which then has to be repeated.

Just a thought on how to make the site better for casual users. Can take or leave it.

Finally had a good week with a 1055 taking me up 6,951 to 4239. Was 106th for week so there were some monsters out there!

Jordan in was huge as was Brown and Thornton in their 2nd game.
Solid scores mostly across the board but spewing a bit that I held Maxwell over Stoinis, also decided to put e on Scott rather than Allen which would have been useful.

Trades were Dwarshius Curran and Stoinis to Bethell Sutherland and Jordan, happy I went for all of them, will continue to try and chase high upside players and hope for the best, already better than my adjusted aims for rest of season were pre round of maybe halving rank. To those who aren't having the season they would have liked hope this helps show that things can swing massively with one good round so keep going and you never know where you can finish.

Good luck to our many highly ranked coaches, hopefully we can have someone win it all!

No worries! I get what you mean but it feels like a bit counterintuitive to tell people to stop posting about the live BBL game in the in-game discussion thread! I don’t think it’s worth the moderating to clean that sort of thing up.

Perhaps we go the same way as the AFL SC and create trade and individual round threads? Bbl has certainly become much more popular in terms of traffic to this site these days that it probably needs separate threads.

I like the other mentioned ins but as mentioned by Herbie, Hope will be unavailable for the Hobart double. so would probably stay clear there.

I like the Neser option that dre suggested as an alternative.

Looks like the loops are set up well,don't mind it for most part, fingers crossed Maxwell bounces back, was hoping he was on for a big one last match after the 4 catches haha.
Would probably want to hold M Short if I still had just in case he plays but Adelaide playing last makes it a bit annoying.

Chaudhary is playing game 4. So I’d be tempted to change him someone playing an earlier game. Perhaps Connolly or Zampa? Buckingham would be the loop for that line as he plays in the last match.
