On Fox Eloise Sehier has reported "I've spoken to the ground staff, and they are CONFIDENT we WILL get SOME PLAY in tonight". Not in Sydney and haven't looked at any bom radars, just going on what she's saying.

My mate at the ground just spoke to Stuart Clark (yes, that Stuart Clark). Stuart Clark has said the pitch and outfield are fine, and they will.play if the rain stops. It is still raining consistently atm though.

I have some more choice words for this form of optimism, but deluded is the word I will choose for those thinking they will get play before the cut off time.

Edit: as an aside, it’s always a horrid sign when they throw a different game on the coverage for people to watch instead.

Had a Quick Look at the radar and the +90mins looks worse than now.

Roughly 5 minutes till players lockout (for the Hurricanes anyway, Thunder are already locked).

Given the uncertainty around play, make sure you make your OWN decision on what to do. We are all flying blind and can only read the tea leaves the best we can. Don’t blame others if you follow them and they got it wrong, but also don’t get cocky or arrogant if you get it right and others got burned.

I'm surprised that they didn't say, yeah there won't be a game, go and watch something else!

Made a similar decision and reverse traded Owen for Abbott.

Looks to be getting worse, look at the times, 8pm was .2mm now .4mm and getting worse, I think we say goodbye.

Depends how many Sixers and Scorchers you own but would be cautious to be trading any more in when the forecast for Saturday is pretty terrible.

Got a feeling Maxi is due and has a good MCG record, would probably go him.
