Getting smashed by
@wogitalia in one H2H match up ...
- at the start of the round, I thought that I matched up quite well against him ...
- until I lost AD x 2 and Edwards x 1
He is currently sitting on 1185 pts (me 1118 pts) with 4 left to play
- it is going to take a serious effort to beat his team this round !!
- flip side ... by my calcs he will probably enter the top 10
I have been desperately trying to not jinx it after my post to
@Jay Sea about unleashing carnage
Definitely having a good round. If Lillard and Cade can show up tomorrow I should have the whole team above 100. Definitely wish I'd noticed Gafford last week instead of going Bridges, can't say I even considered him though so spilt milk and all that.
Hurts I had to have such a bad week last week to get a good one this week, wasn't anything to do with this week that I had the bad week either, would be happier if it was one of those sacrifice to setup but last week was meant to be good
The Luka trade is absolutely wild. Has a serious 30 for 30 about Luka is coming vibe to it because it just makes no sense otherwise. I like Davis and he's a great player but he's just as or more injury prone than Luka, not as good and 6 years older.
It's one of the wildest out of nowhere and just in terms of what it's about trades I can ever recall. Even the KG to Boston trade was at least on the cards and that's probably the last trade in this realm I can think of. I'd have had Luka on the top 5 guys you don't trade list I'm pretty sure. Would only say Wemby and Jokic are absolutely ahead of him on it as well.
Agree with
@The Night Manager that I hate a player I really like going to a team I don't. The only thing I can hope is that LeBron hooks Luka up with his pharmacist and personal trainer and gets the guy in elite shape. Feels like an awful fit on the basketball court, basically two guys who detest trying on defense, are ball dominant and mediocre 3pt shooters, honestly feels like the Lakers should also be trading Bron as can't see how it works at all basketball wise, especially because Davis was their entire defense.
Mavs somehow actually makes way more sense for from a basketball perspective but doesn't make much sense in anything beyond that either long term or marketing wise. They're still clearly a very good player away right now.
Wild.
