Hot Take from tonight's game.

Foot in play crackdown to start the season will slow the game. More tackles and less break aways and scoring.

Fading CTW over FRF and 2RF seems the right way to go until it settles down after Magic Round.

Yeah definitely agree with that, but can imagine the crackdown lasts for the first few rounds before fading into obscurity. Just basing it off the reffing tonight, they missed one or two ‘rolls’ already.

I'm going down the 3 gun fullback path at the moment.

It's good to see what you can get if you spread the $500K extra over the rest of your squad.

Going to wait until TLT to see if enough other cheapies are named to start or skip Iongi.

Hi all,

Just a reminder about the SCS NRL Promotion/relegation leagues for 2025. There is still time to register your interest by filling out the form below (it takes 2 minutes max).

SCS NRL Pro/Rel leagues

So far we have enough for two leagues, but there is plenty of room for more participants. Everyone who registers interest will be entered into a league. After Sunday February 16, I will start sending out league codes, at which time the model (amount of teams promoted/relegated etc) will be decided. Any questions, please ask.

Seen a bit of hype around RTS potentially playing on the wing consistently this year, pulled up some stats to see how he scored during his last 2 nrl seasons on the wing

All good options, can throw Howarth, Skelton (if named round 1) and Graham (if fit round 1) into the mix as well around that mid range price point
