No real training reports or insight from me but happy to say whatever you want to hear.
Powell-Pepper a poor kick but will compensate with pressure. At an elevated rookie price tag, he may struggle to string a few 70-80+ scores together as a sub 50 here or there may limit considerable cash gen (I.e moving to that low $300,000 range).
Fair bit of depth at the small forward position relative to other lines, so with a high pick spent on a small forward, then it bodes well for Berry (comparisons made to R Gray). Hopefully he can play high half forward and push up the ground to help the quality of entries coming in although that feels counter-intuitive if the game plan of locking it in the forward fifty by heading to the boundaries and kicking too many behinds with a high forward press exposed on the counter attack is still a go.

With the key position injuries, X Walsh may be worth keeping an eye on although we have a poor record of developing key position talent. As for Houston departing, Williams will be worth a watch as he is priced under $200,000 but again similar to the above in that there looks to be plenty of depth down back (non key position). Managed 8/17 scores of 80 or more in 2023 from non sub matches. Unsure what the issue was last season and would prefer to defer to someone more knowledgeable.
