$792,300 to spend. No round 12 bye players please.
Any ideas to fill these 2 vacancies?

I think dismissing round 12 bye players like Smith and JHF with such high potential and ownership is a big risk. I understand minimising exposure with round 12 premiums but the boat will have sailed if both these guys go bang and your speculative picks like Sanders, Will Ashcroft, Callaghan and TDK are a bust. It’s a risky strategy to fade these guys at such high ownership.

There’s risk and there’s risk and I really do think it’s a balance.

Can't even quote the messages to bring it another thread and I feel a fair amount of the community don't even know how to do that.

In the moment they probably want to reply and then they lose that and never come back to it.
It’s possible to click “quote” on one thread and then click “insert quote” on another thread

Ie see below which I quoted across.

I would say it’s still a concern.

There is still 22 WC listed players in that squad and six of their best 22 missing with niggles or featured in the Indigenous match that should play round 1.

Maric in the ‘B’ team for their last match sim too doesn’t bode well for his round 1 prospects.

yep, something to ponder, had him in the flex position all this time, might need to look for alternatives.

Hi all,

I'm looking at figuring out how I want to trade around these early byes. Was just wondering if we are gonna see prices rises for teams playing in opening round earlier than the rest?

Thanks in advance legends!

Round zero is included in the price cycle. Ideally if you have in mind a very early upgrade, you could look at culling rookies with the round 4 bye, as they will have had a month's worth of games in their pricing. Someone like Prior would be ideal as he is already starting from an elevated price.

Like I'm not saying this is a particularly optimal strategy but it could be looked at.

(Prior probably has shaky JS and has to make the 22 anyway, just using him as an example)

Nice team. Whats the rationale behind Short and Roberts and why do you expect them to improve on last year? Tempted by both but just can’t them yet
I’m tossing up between Brayshaw and Serong myself…
Purely on value, both are underpriced. I’m not comfortable with either for various reasons so more place holders to see if anything raises its head during pre-season.

FWIW I think Short will make a little cash and sustain good scores early but will need a trade later in the season with more confidence that Roberts could be a season long keeper with upside, just not happy about the early bye.

When Roberts had 80% or more game time and 3 or more kick-ins last season he average 108 SC points so there’s upside.
