Hey Saint,
hopefully you decided to wait a week on Tyson ---> JPK, Tyson's 159 could be pretty useful. Otherwise, I hope you went my suggestion of Tyson ---> Gray, his 139 is probably not a bad score to bank against whatever JPK will score next week.
Whatever road you took, I hope it worked out for you! :)
Hi Rowsus, thank you for the follow up. You were on the money whichever way I went. In the end decided to not use a trade and Tyson's 159 was way over what I expected. May even now allow me to wait another week and get a bit more cash out of Tyson who I can trade first week of finals. Depends on how JPK goes this week but wouldn't expect his price to go up too much even with another big score. Maybe Gray next round. Wingard teased again, looked great first half, but faded badly, got to 81 3/4 time helped by goal on the siren, then went backward 16 points last quarter. Didn't seem to spend as much time on the ball second half.

Looking forward to seeing what happens this week.

thanks again, cheers

Hey Rowsus, who do you think (or who does RAMP think) will score more for the season out of JPK and Rocky?
Need to bring in one of them this week.

Hi Rowsus

i have followed your advice and brought in grey for ablett which worked well, and langdon for mitchell.

Next week i will trade a rookie and i will have approx 637k in the bank. I would love to go rockcliff as he can avg high for the supercoach finals however if i complete the trade then i will have to keep roughhead in my squad. I was wondering if you were able to complete an analysis on a few players and how much will they avg for the rest of the season. The players that i am considering is ward, sloane, dal santo and sidebottom.

Thanks

Hi Adrenaline and Bomber18,
the tables suggest Rocky will be the best scorer if you are shooting for overall, but Sloane, Dal Santo and Ward might be better picks if winning your SC finals is your focus.
Good luck :)

G'day Rowsus,

Hoping you can help me in time.
I made a slight error in not putting Harvey in my fwd line last week so I can no longer trade Taylor to Mitchell
Held trades after Shenton was sub and now have to rely on Taylor in fwd line
Sadly, both Shenton and Taylor will lose cash for me and I guess its not worth trading Taylor now.
Is it worth trading Litherland to Mitchell for cover in backline with Hibberds injury?
Or with 3 trades and Litherland playing (no Spangher) I should just ride it out.
Thinking I have no choice but to ride out this one but just wanted your opinion
Cheers

Hi Slammer,
while the Litherland to Mitchell option isn't horrible, I can't help but feel there might be better use in waiting. I still think some added strength for loopholing in your Mid/Fwd lines is your best option. You can possibly achieve both those Things, but then that commits all your trades. I'd ride this week out now.
Good luck :)

Happy to help, bomber18. :)
He's in rare form, he's a flat track bully, and he's playing Melbourne.
He could quite easily bring home that 190 for you!
Even the 120 table has him scoring 148, which isn't too shabby! :)

True that!
Really happy I got the Rocky v JPK decision right. Got me ~70 points which essentially covered my Sandi Donut with only one trade! Thanks again!

I see a third year running of bad luck plagueing the Muppets. They will be on track to keep a trade or 3 up their sleeves for the finals, when disaster strikes late in the season, causing the Muppets to use those all important last trades! :(
Wish this was in the small % of things you get wrong :(

Hey jmack5,
RAMP says Buddy just outscores Gray from here (by 9 points). But given the versatility of Gray's DPP, and the fact that RAMP says Franklin will score about 30 less than Gray in the SC GF, I'd probably take Gray.

Hi Rowsus, need your wisdom once again :D
Just need some input as to whether I should do this trade and if I do, who I should go for?

Suckling >> Hanley OR Cutler >> Mitchell

First trade will leave me with $72k, with Bews and Cutler on the bench (technically no cover)
Second trade will leave me with $39k, with Suckling and Bews on the bench (OK cover)
Either way, I will be down to one trade.
Worthwhile?

Hi MMM,
my first choice would be to hold onto both trades. There is more carnage to come, and your cover is thin across the lines. If you must trade Cutler to Mitchell would be the way to go.
Good luck :)

Thanks Row.
I know 2 trades are not a lot, only reason being I cannot stand Suckling dishing out those stupid dud scores again :(
Looks like I have no choice...

Hi Rowsus

Unfortunately hibberd is out and its put me into a dillema.

I was considering bringing in Priddis this week for acres however with hibberd out im not sure if i should bring in k simpson for him this week.

My current team is

swallow mcveigh mitchell bartel hanley hibberd aylett and cameron

pendels beams libba fyfe kennedy selwood goddard honeychurch acres obrien

sandi and jacobs

danger martin grey parker roughead pav minchington and johnson

i have 360k in the bank. I feel my options are:
a. bring in priddis or sloane this week and use clay cameron as the back up. The only problem is simpson has a break even of approx 60 and RAMP has predicted that he will get 95. Therefore i will need to raise extra funds to get him back in.

b. i can bring in simpson this week, hope that honeychurch plays this week and grab priddis the following week.

what do you think?

Thanks for your help

Hey Rowsus,

Me again, getting to the stage where no trade advise will be necessary, but not quite there yet.

2 trades remaining.

Still holding Swan, with Taylor as Mid cover, I have only a small chance of making finals in SCS Div 1, (but still a chance)

Have only got $513k to spend on replacment for Swan.

So the best options as far as I can see are Jones, Griffen, Jack, Crouch or Wines. Was leaning towards Jones.

What are your thoughts?

Cheers.

Hey Rowsus...

Desperate now.... Hibberd is out for 3 with finals upon us. Should I sit him on the bench and play litherland? or trade him to Birchall and change Pavlich to Rockliff or some other trade like that?

only 2 trades left.

What is your opinion of Grant Birchall. Seems to be getting back into some form... do you think he can sustain it?

Hi Ad,
I guess selection tonight will have the biggest bearing on your decision, but if it comes down to having a choice, grab Simpson this week. While you have some trades left, saving dollars is still important. It looks like Simpson this week, and Priddis next week will $10-15K cheaper than the other way around.
Good luck :)

Hey Rowsus,

Still only 3 trades. Do you reckon I should do the Hibberd to Mitchell trade this week or just put up with Litherland.
Have $120 in bank so could upgrade Hibberd but still have option for another mid by moving Harvey back into fwd line.
Any thoughts are appreciated once again
cheers

Hey Deeman1,
interesting dilemma you have put me in! I would love to advise you how you might best win your Div 1 match-up this week......... except you are playing against ME!!!!!
Currently I am predicted to beat you by 30 points, so it comes down to C/VC selections, and late outs.
Looking at the respective draws of the players you can afford, I think i'd toss up between Macrae and Crouch. Griffen is just likely to disappear again, and Jones seems to have dropped off a little, as has Jack, whose draw isn't great. Wines would be my third pick.
I still have Swan, too. I have 1 trade left, and will only trade him out if/when I have to. I also have about $90k which makes my budget about the same as yours!
Good luck this week, I hope you jump the right way! As it stands right now, the only player I have sitting on the bench is Shenton in my Fwd line, so I can't afford any carnage/drama this week! :)
