DEF: Smith, Shaw, Yarran, Mackenzie, H. Goddard, D McKenzie (D. Vlojo-Rainbow, B. Maynard)
MID: Ablett, Rockliff, Kennedy, Dangerfield, Griffen, I. Heeney (N. Freeman, T. Miller, A. Saad)
RUC: Goldstein, Naitanui (M. Cox)
FOR: Goddard, Bennell, Christensen, T. Lynch, Clark, Hogan (C. Daniel, K. Lambert)

Rip it apart boys!!!
Well for starters missing 2 from midfield , court suggested to me prem 3/4/1/4 ur close you have 2/5/2/1 , my suggestion Juz better forwards Goddard and perhaps at least to more keepers , defence at least 1 more keeper and ruck perhaps a lower priced ruck with goldy , but hey thats my opinion but i'm far from being an expert.
Hope that helps and good luck mate

Not a problem, but take it with a grain of salt. Not in same league as the great players here.

Hey FT, there are lots of teams being posted in this thread at the moment - check out their structures and the players being selected and you should be able to get a really good idea about which players you should be considering.

4 keeper mids (hopefully griff), would like 5 keepers
Light on rucks
Strong forward line

13-14 keepers
Lots DPP links

DEF: Malceski, Smith, Shaw, Johnson, Goddard, McKenzie (Adamson, Maynard)
MID: Ablett, Rocky, Kennedy, Griff, Heeney, Boekhorst, Laverde, Freeman (Miller, Saad, Payne)
RUC: Blicavs (reckon he'll improve tons this year), Nicnat (Read)

You'll have a much better chance of completing this team Juzzo with more keepers. DPP links are more important in the second half of the year when trades start to dry up. The only 1 I will make sure I start with is R3, all other players are best available.

Malceski, Smith, Rhocky, Gray all off career best SC years, very very expensive all of them. No value there and improve is each SC wise is almost non existent. Concerns with Malceski - new team, Rocky - Lions mid depth
You need to bolster your mids
Harvey age and $ is concerning
Christensen durability is concerning

a bit harsh but you are overpaying for some key players who dont possess much grow imo this season. Picking players who can avg similar scores and save $$$ will allow you to upgrade you mids

Nice to see a side with not just one but two KPFs. Take some balls to start with Walker and or Reiwoldt but would be different from the pack. No way on gods earth would I start without Ablett.
Thanks for the feedback.
No Walker, im probably 55/45 on him and probably will change to Mitchell eventually. Nick Roo has enjoyed extremely easy draws early on in 2013,2014 AND 2015. It seems like he tends to average 105-110 for the first 6-7 rounds then drop of drastically to finish the season off with 90-95 average.
If Ablett recovers well and is showing good signs, then I will go Bellchambers>rookie, Watson>ablett

Nice team. Just not sure about the job security of Goddard, Fuller, Maynard and viojo. Maynard and Goddard will play at some point, but I wouldn't be surprised if NONE of them are named for round 1. Last year we lacked forward rookies, this year there aren't many solid rookie defenders.

So its loooking like if we wanna load up on premium fwds and want 3 prem defenders and waters were only going to be able to start with 4 super premium mids.
Really hope theres gonna be some def ròokies that come out the woodwork before it kicks off.
Kicking off with 5 premium mids always looks so much better on paper lol

Christmas and New Year greetings to all.
Had some time yesterday to research and put a few teams together, thoughts and idea's welcomed.

B Smith, M Hibberd, G Ibbotson, B Waters, B Whitecross, S Edwards.
C Ellis-Yolmen, N Newman.

G Ablett, J Selwood, R Sloane, P Dangerfield, R Griffin, S Biggs, I Heeney, B Boekhorst.
A Vandenberg, N Freeman, J Steele m/f.

N Naitanui, M Leuenberger. (M Cox)

B Deledio, B Goddard, D Martin, D Swan, A Cooney, M Clark.
J Hogan, D Menzel.

Defence - Risky with Ibbo, Waters and Whitecross but if they all get through there pre season's, they could be ok. Hearing some good reports about Shaun Edwards, so in at the moment.

Mids - I can see Jay laughing at me now. "NO PENDLEBURY", after so much conversation about him early this season. Hard to start him due to the bye's.

Rucks - Thinking Nic Nat will smash it if he has a full preseason. Cox is there just in case I end up with a starting R/F in the forward line.

Forwards - Pretty standard except for Cooney. Keen to take a punt with him. Can see him running the wing, forward flank with no tag at all. Watson and Heppell will cop most tags so will monitor his pre season games.

9/11/10 bye set up. Only 6k leftover.

With Christmas over its time to put the footy hat on again, good to see some familiar faces coming back already.

Smith Hibberd Birchall Ibbotson Waters Lever Goddard Johnson

Ablett Pendles Selwood Ward Dangerfield Heeney Boekherst Vandenberg Atkins Freeman Amon

Kreuzer Berger Cox

Delidio Franklin Martin Swan Clark Laverde Karnezis Hogan

50.5k banked

Risky in the rucks but i see no reason why each cant average 90-100 up until the byes. Starting to think SC is won and lost in the rucks so the mid price strategy is the "Make or Break" way to go.

12-13 keepers if Ibbotson fires is a bit low for my liking at this point though in all honesty.

One of the better teams posted me thinks. Membrey kicked 5 goals in the NEAFL grand final which Sydney lost by 2 points! He's a Jack Darling type who I think will be a good pick. If I can't afford a 5th premium mid I am tossing up between Toby Greene and Ryan Griffin. Toby is a risk but he posts some big scores. Read is a better R3 than Cox because he guarantees you the captains loophole for the first 4 weeks.
