Overall nice team, I count 13 keepers which is a good starting point. I wouldn't normally comment on rookies this time of year but I presume Moore in your backline is Darcy from the Pies. Just buyer beware on him; he is going to be a seriously good player, and he is impressing down at the Pies, but he is a 199cm teenager and the Pies won't rush him. I would be surprised if he played more next year than Boyd played for GWS this year, and there is talk he will start down back, where based on reports, I believe he was more of a shut down defender in the TAC Cup.
Thanks. Yeah, i pretty much have him in there for his DPP and his high price allows me to change to any playing rookie.

Changed my team a lot after considering the byes in the midfield. Ideally, I'd love to start Ablett, Pendlebury, JPK, Watson. But it makes for some pretty horrid byes. My cousin brought up an interesting point while we were charging froffies and watching the cricket on Boxing Day, why not drop Ablett and start JPK? You know he's going to bleed some sort of money, and he could be a perfect upgrade target for Daniel Rich at his bye. Whilst this has been considered, I'm worried I'll leak too many points overall at the start from all of the GAJ C locks that will be going down, so I've reverted back to my original lock midfield of these 4.

Defenders are a pain, who would of thought that Burgoyne was going to be a contender again this season? One of the only blokes who has DPP still and could be used to utilize some sort of M/D swing, but at this point in time, I don't want to rely on my man Silk to see out 26 games again at his age. Love him though. So I've gone with Simpson purely because he shouldn't miss a game, and seriously shouldn't throw out more stinkers like he did last year with Kreuzer back in side. I can certainly see Carlton improving. Same applies to Smith. I've read a lot regarding Smith potentially moving up to the wing this year, and I can only see him scoring 90+ over the season. Hibberd is one I'm just waiting for. I've seen what he can do when he's in form and fit, he is a disposal machine, going to take the punt again this season and hope he can lock down 22 solid games and push up toward the 100 average that I'm sure he is capable of. Seedsman hopefully to slip in to the Lumumba/Shaw role across half back and most certainly increase on his average. Waters purely because when I started playing SC, this guy had a machine year, pumping out constant 95+ scores. At that price, compared to the Suckling mid price of last year, I think Waters will be in 100% of teams. Just have to hope he can stay fit and healthy!

Most rookies at the moment are speculative, but I'm locking in the starting ruck combo of Kreuzer/Bellchambers. Last year I went with Sandilands/Hickey, and it paid off. I think no matter what, you would be spending 2 trades in the ruck line over the year, so why not start somewhere low, hopefully make a bit of money, and by mid season, be far more certain with your #1 + #2 ruck calls. Goldstein would have been perfect pick up for me when Hickey went down, but I ended up **** farting around with McEvoy, then finally bringing in Jacobs.

Forward line, not much has to be said. It speaks for itself, most people are starting the same 4, or even the same 5 players in the forward line this season. Rookies are all speculative, although I'm fairly certain Mitch Clark will receive better delivery at Geelong than he has anywhere else, and will become one of the seasons better pick ups.

There's a brief explanation of what's to be expected down at xFKKHx F.C this season, wishing you all a happy new year, and a safe holiday period!

I havent factored in byes.
Until we know good rookies its hard to build a team. Nevertheless:

DEF- hibbo, hurn, geary, rohan, waters, whitecross, goddard, newman

MID- pendles, jelwood, dangerfield, wines, steven, wells, van berlo, heeney, gore, freeman, lambert.

RUCK- nicnat, kreuz, cox

FWD- swan, walters, cameron, billings, bellchambers, staker, clark, salem.

462k left.

I generally go guns and rooks exclusively, 2015 i feel picking kwy mid pricers and getting value from prems is key.

When i look at the fwd premos, alot of them look great however not great value. I think i will be aiming for a team with cheap fwds and try to "set and forget" backline. So i reckon my backs will get alot of attention pre season.

This team is my very 1st one. Just picked players without thoughts on structure/byes.

I must admit, I fail to see any correlation between Simpson's scoring, and Kreuzer being back. One is a small Def that spends a little time on the ball, the other a tall, that is being slated to go Forward more this year.

You'll be in big trouble rd 12 particularly if you go with Fyfe.

Moore will start as a defender, and it seems very unlikely for him to average 55+, and even if he did it does not justify his price.
Your ruck setup is probably the 2nd most risky combination, but it could pay off.
I think you're going for too many midpricers in the defence, and I struggle to see them becoming premiums/making enough cash.
Apart from that, nice midfield, great forward line, nice work. :)

Thx for that , following what other options can u suggest for the backline total and with that midfield and fwd line ruck options limited, maybe luenberger instead of bellchambers/ Kreuzer ????? , this is the part i get a little behind in

Nice to see a side with not just one but two KPFs. Take some balls to start with Walker and or Reiwoldt but would be different from the pack. No way on gods earth would I start without Ablett.

The first test, 12-13 keepers yes, but I think you should try to spread them around the lines a little. 1/5/1/5 premiums is a bit lopsided and arguably more difficult to upgrade. As a suggestion try for 3/4/1/4.

You need 2 more midfielders, you might only have 1 keeper in the forward line, 2 in the backline and Read or O'Brien are better for loopholing than Cox.
