14 runs off the first four balls of Broad's over. Ian Botham's analysis, "this is an expensive over."

Expert commentary that.

I was there tonight, just got home, and I must say England was rubbish. Their bowling plan was non-existent, their fielding was substandard and the batting from the top order (Bell excepted) was terrible!

Yes, they dropped Finch very early and it cost them, but they just didn't seem to have a plan anyway. Broad bowled well at times, as did Woakes, but the only thing they can take away from the game in the first innings was the hatrick from Finn. Australia batted pretty well, although the way Smith went out was disgusting - shocking shot. Watson got a good ball first up, but really he does nothing for the side imo. Everyone else played reasonably well considering.

Bowling, the Aussies were very good up until they got about 4/5 wickets and then with the game gone, they just went through the motions it seemed. Stunning catch from Smith though and some great bowling from Marsh - he deserved his 5'fa.

I didn't think it would be that one sided!

Also, I left for the game with the rain coming down in buckets, I sat in the sun in jeans until the evening and I can tell you, it was very sticky indeed.. Glad I took the wife's advice and packed the raincoat...not. No need for Tony's weather wall today - a beautiful day in Melbourne town!

Smiths catch, A grade.
Marshs 5 + acceptance to crowd, A grade.
Streaker, poor form. Where was the Dustin Martin fend off?
Finchs 100 on home turf in front of 85k odd people, incredible.
Line to get beer, disgrace.
Type of food, horrible.
Choice to wear jeans ( I did too ) disappointed.
Hatrick was great, strangest timing coming off of the last 3 balls, but still a fantastic effort.

Sure is Kohli!

4 matches in and every team batting first has reached 300! You would have to say all the T20 they play has had an effect on the scoring rates in the one dayers.
