What do we reckon Virtual Sports does here? I reckon donuts but do we think they'll let us know regarding player scoring?

Round will go ahead. Two premiership points for Crows & Cats, that game will be cancelled. AFL to confirm soon
Confirmed

@AFL: McLachlan: The premiership points will be split between the two clubs as per the AFL rules. The remaining seven games will go ahead.

Despite Buddy, Sloane, Bennell, Danger, Smith and Lever being out this week I Should be able to feild a whole team by only trading sloane. Might even be able to do a sneaky loophole aswell.

Fingers crossed

I've said it a few times, but I know a guy at the Herald Sun who said he has spoken to the SC dept and believes it will be zero's for Cats / Crows players.

Whispers on this website point to simply giving the player zeros as if they were out injured or suspended. I assume your talking about Supercoach.

i'm surprised that they don't have a provision in the T&Cs that would cover it.

they'll probably just say all players are non scoring players.

Agree, expect it will be the same as DNP.
From my own SC perpspective I hope they give the players their projected total, ban the ability to make them captain and neglect that score from their future price movements. Pain to predict extended bench though.

I have Buddy, Bennell, sloane (will trade), Danger, Lever and Smith, but will be safe from donuts.

Here's an update:

@petejank: @McClungeMagnet @FBDonkey will have something soon.. quite a few issues with awarding known, defined scores (ie avg).

Donuts Maybe not the most likely option after all...

They should quickly make it best 18 or best 20. Otherwise it's too unfair for those with plenty of Adelaide and Geelong players. I have 5 (3 def & 2 mids).

Also if it is best 22 as normal I'll be forced to keep Robbie Tarrant yet again!

Could be easier to award players there average score maybe?

I heard SuperCoach will allow the projected score which imo it's a bit unfair as you have danger projected on 133. Imo I don't think danger would have but that if he played on Sunday. However I do feel for the people that have many Adelaide and Geelong players. Hopefully there is a fair outcome for everyone

I could be made to look like a goose, but again.. I have a friend who works at the Herald Sun. He has apparently spoken to the guys in the Supercoach team and reckons it's 100% certain the crows and cats will score 0.

There is no alternative, you cannot allocate scores that were never made. The reality is, they score 0.

I guess we shall know soon enough when they make the announcement (IF they do make any sort of announcement)

I agree - 0 is the only "fair" option. You can't hand out points that were not earned. Selwood is a perfect example. Selwood's projection is 97, a score he has achieved TWICE in his past NINE games. The other SEVEN games have all been below 90. Not fair to just allocate points based on guesswork or past performances. Obviously the scale is a lot larger, but they are all essentially late outs. Bennell for drugs, Rioli for a funeral last week, Roughie for melanoma, Hawkins for his mother's passing.

or they do something funky based on the $$$ they are.

but the final 22 wasn't named, so how do they know who would have played, or who'd be sub etc.

it'll be 0's alround

Giving everyone zeros will be unfair and seasons could be decided today. Either way there will be a lot of unhappy people.
