Reasoning:
DEF:
Waiting to hear if McVeigh will line up 100% fit for Round 1. He could easily fit back in there. Gone with 3 solid SC performers (historically) that have generally been quite durable.
*Due to changes from Team Picker to SC2016, have not been able to run Bartel at D4 so have gone for Smith.
MIDS:
I like this line, but keep tossing and turning between JPK and Hanners. Both durable and great scorers. Can anyone convince me either way!?! haha
There is also the option to bring in Fyfe if he's fit Round 1.
I'm picking Libba as a keeper to end the year at (at worst) M8 and *Crouch will be a stepping stone/breakout (or a keeper if he become the new Danger lol)
RUC:
Martin is my locked and loaded R1 and I'm hoping to use Lobbe as a stepping stone to Goldy (hopefully there is a bit of a price drop there). *Lobbe will be watched for NAB form.
FWD:
Don't you just love a forward line with so many DPPs
Dusty, Dahlhaus and Barlow are my big 3 with Boomer coming in at D4. All are generally quite durable (Barlow potentially the exception but I see value here). *Wells is the pick I'm going to cop some flack over - his selection is based on how I see him through the NAB Cup. Any sign of struggle and he becomes a rookie. Chosen as a VERY fallen premium.
So if ALL goes REALLY well I could
potentially have a maximum of 16 keepers. But being completely glass half empty, I'm going to say 13-14 (based on either Crouch or Smith being that 14th keeper, Wells is the big ? of the 3)
Go to work guys. What would you all change?
Good luck in 2016!
