If u have cotchin in ur team u would be pretty happy with his next to fixtures bulldogs and pies. I would assume he would be scoring over 100. His definitely someone that I would be considering to bring my team

Why is it some players seem to be gifted points, when other players do the same thing, around the same time, and get less?

Two weeks in a row now, Cotchin has had a dreadful DE.

Last week, 33 poss DE 48% 7 clangers score 119 - compared to Grigg had 23 poss DE 65% 1 clangers score 69
This week, 31 poss DE 55% 6 clangers score 119 - compared to Tuck had 21 poss DE 62% 2 clangers score 58

On straight proportions, Grigg and Tuck used the ball better, had way less clangers, but scored at a rate around 15% less per possession!!!
I know it is not lineal, but it seems way out of proportion.

Abletts last quarter last week, and other examples we have seen, makes me think there is a human element in all this, weighting the "stars" and "popular" players performances more highly than some other players!

You didnt watch the game??? Stats dont tell the whole story. Cotch was there when we needed someone to step up. And got the big possies when it mattered.

I thought the main reason cotch got into the game last night was because jones was moved from him to deledio late in the 2nd quarter.

I am still confused as to why that move was made after jones was doing a number on him and deledio I thought handled the tag well. He should have been moved back in the last

Agree with your observations. When Cotchin is locked down both he and the Tigers appear to suffer. I don't think future opponents will be as generous as Watters. Early days I know but risk management may mean that Cotchin makes way for someone else next week.
