There goes my season in the first game of R19! It was fun while it lasted.

Hawthorn star Sam Mitchell is expected to miss Saturday's crunch game against North Melbourne as a number of Hawks come under scrutiny by the Match Review Panel on Monday.
Mitchell appears certain to be charged with striking Melbourne forward Jack Watts after punching the Demon in the face in the third quarter of Saturday's loss at the MCG.
After slamming Watts to ground in a tackle without the ball, Mitchell struck the Demon high with his right fist in a blow that will likely be graded intentional, low impact and high contact.
That would result in a two-match suspension that could be downgraded to one match with an early guilty plea, ruling Mitchell out of a match the Hawks must win to guarantee they stay on top of the ladder.

Don't really see why they would risk him at this point.

Anyway, don't think I can carry him. With some trades up my sleeve it is an opportunity.

Reported on ABC radio news tonight that Pendles cleared of major injury and is a "reasonable chance" to face the dogs Friday night.

Not sure if this has been mentioned (or if anyone else has held on to him) but Darcy MacPherson has played the last two weeks in the NEAFL and it seems he played pretty well in the midfield last week, laying 10 tackles, so might be a shot at a return. Would be very well-timed for me if Pendles does miss.

I reckon he could kick an umpire in the balls, and the AFL would find a way to "explain it" for him!
