Titchell will be like a Labrador at a park. Clarkson will unleash him to see ball, get ball. The record for number of tackles in AFL/VFL history will undone by Tom Mitchell next season. He is currently in my team at M4

With respect, I highly doubt Smith gets the No.1 tag over Titchell. Smith is not as damaging as Titchell can be. You can like him as a pick but I think you can't say that he has no concerns at all.
I said i have no concerns, not he has no concerns.

Nice creative thinking on Witts, Pro - both putting him in at R3, and then playing FDs elsewhere for loopholing purposes.

I think I need to give Witts a bit more thought.

Add another to the Witts train. Having a playing R3 would be an absolute luxury - 217k is a bargain in that sense

Witts only contemplated if no Ryder I would think
Thinking the same, currently have him at F4 with the cheap Freo R/F at R3, will leave it like that until we see some preseason action.
I prefer the "conventional" loophole player on the ruck line but could be convinced to go Witts also depending on relevant pre-season form lines.

G'day mate. I see this as a solid team with some POD picks. Not sure on Hurley or Hartlett but I see the attraction that people may have to them. Hurley has never played a full season and historically KPD's (even the ones who rebound) are inconsistent with their scores. Hartlett could be a nice POD pick if he can get going this season, has a decent scoring history but durability while be the question mark on him. Also, while Hamptom may be a place holder name at the moment, I don't see him getting games at the start of the season for the Crows.

Mids are great. Have a man crush on JPK so love that pick. Robbie Gray is a solid POD pick, I can see him going around 110 again. Might be batting a little deep with Swallow + Beams though.

Forwards will be interesting this year. Pretty solid, mate. Not sure about Ryder as I don't see him being a top forward but again, he has potential and DPP.

Overall, a solid team. The only thing I would suggest is that you cull Swallow for a rookie and upgrade Hartlett or Hurley to a premo defender like Laird?

Thanks for the advice BucketsofRo. Will take that into account. Yes durability is a big thing in this game

Hi Buckets

On Hampton from AFL website Dec 4. Doesn't mean he is going to make it but it is interesting. After Sloane and a couple of others there is a number of Crows all looking like they are fighting for mid positions.

ADELAIDE defender Curtly Hampton is intent on reinventing himself as a well-rounded midfielder.

Known as a running halfback during his 51 games in four seasons with Greater Western Sydney, the 23-year-old told AFL.com.au he is determined to prove he can be a key contributor for the Crows. "I feel I can play my best footy through the midfield, just with the way I can move around in traffic and use my kick and break the lines from there," Hampton said. "I feel like in the backline I can feel a bit wasted at times.
"I spoke to the coaches and they said they would give me a chance, so Pykey (Adelaide coach Don Pyke) has stuck to his word.

"I'm with the midfield at the moment, so I've got to show them now."

Blaze said some good things about Hampton. Early signs are there are quite a few defensive rookies looking like getting games like McGrath, Hampton, Vickers-Willis, Ryan, Newman, Berry, Hibberd. If it turns out that way, would have to go thin in the defense!

I am really interested in people's selections of Petrevski-Seton. I know a bit about him but for mine, Will Brodie might be a safer pick. Carlton might use SPS as a forward due to their lack of forward power.

From my pre-season research, I completely agree with you. We'll really only know after the pre-season games have started though (obviously).
