Sorry GFB, I meant D Fogarty from Adelaide. My thinking is he may have better JS now with Lynch and Tex missing R1
Probably irrelevant now, as we have passed lock out. Fogarty good scoring power, however, with Tex and Lynch to come back soon (not aware if they are away more than a week), you would expect he could make way. Having said that, Jenkins struggled in JLT and his position could be under fire (just as he kicks a goal).

Does Adelaide go 4 talls in Tex, Lynch, McGovern and JJ/Fog or do they follow Tigers smaller defensive type approach.

Barry vs Banfield? Banfield better JS, but maybe Barry better scoring potential at a better team on the wing. Plus Barry is fun to have...

Anyone have any insight as to whether Gray is likely to come in for Barry or Marshall?

My question is similar...

Barry vs Kelly for better JS?
Looking to drop one via Finlayson and Cole to get Doedee's score.

Havent used this thread all preseason and using it now 2 games into rd 1. Good to see i trust my side

Sicily/Lycett/Olango vs ZGL/S.Martin/McLnerney

At the moment i have option 2 after having option 1 most of the preseason. Becoming increasingly worried about Lycett, still think Sicily will be a good pick. I see option 1 going at 93 + 82 (175) vs option 2 100 + 60 (160). So option 1 ahead for weekly points. However with Kreuzer going down and doubts about the ruck line i think having ruck cover is becoming increasingly essential this year. Last year we were blessed with nank as a ruc/fwd option that proved valuable. Can definitely see myself using 3 or so trades just to avoid ruck 0's this year. That's why i've decided Mclnerney may be a good option. Named emergency this week and from what i've read here Smith seems to be on the outer with Brisbane for whatever reason. If Martin cops a 1 week suspension or is a late out at least i'll have cover saving me 70 odd points. Checked his loophole draw and for the first 5 weeks it's quite good. After that i expect a few other rookies to be dropped if not earlier. Writing this has basically convinced me which way to go but does anyone else have other thoughts. 2 fwd rookies isn't great but compromises need to be made somewhere. Just noticed Tim English has been named. Perhaps option 1 isnt so bad now with him as emergency? Got Cole as captain loophole'but that may be gone as soon as next week??

Can you do option one with English instead of Olango? I'd prefer that.

I wish mate. The only guy i would consider getting rid of that hasn't played yet is Cole. Don't particularly like any other defence rookies that haven't played yet that i don't already have. Keeffe would be the most viable option imo. Can swing with Sicily and allows me to get doedees score off the bench like i was already planning to do with Cole.

Why not just Trac and Savage and bank the cash!
never thought of that :)

Dixon & Savage gives me exactly $ 0.00 left

or I just stay with Dixon & Naughton and keep $ 300 k to fix Ellis & Murphy

Is Savage a trap ? Is Pet Rock a trap ?

one way to find out I guess

Would really appreciate any opinions on Christensen V Rayner at F5, i have Fritsch at F6, (Fogarty & Ryan on the bench). 110k left in the bank.
Thanks in advance. Good luck to all.

Need to quickly sort this one out...

Buddy vs Heeney
as good form as Buddy looks preseason Heeney. Have a look at Buddy's scores last year, had a couple of good games to start then falls into an 80-95 range. last couple of years has had two massive scores at end of year that boost his average and only two in the rest of the year. Tends to throw up some low scores maybe as the season catches up with him and then you want to look at him.

Big X v Y

Current mids Dusty, Fyfe, Conigs, Cripps, xxx, xxx, Brayshaw, Banfield

Mitchell and Liber and $75k left v J Selwood and Treloar/Bont and $45k left.

No Danger, as you can see, Liber was part of the plan to get him. Not sure which way to go now

i really like the first opition. mitchell is a yet and libba has had a good preseason.

i am not sure if selwood scores wll be affected by ablett and danger when he returns. he will give you big scores throughout the season but you can always pick up cheaper throughout the season. treloar and bont really worry me. treloar efficiency isnt the best and bont might have the same role as last season. those 2 guys are a wait and see. i go with the first option
