MRP has laid 12 charges from Saturday / Sunday games, with 3 other matters assessed in detail.
Patrick Dangerfield can accept $2000 sanction, rough conduct on J Westhoff.

Lindsay Thomas referred directly to Tribunal, rough conduct on S Selwood. No early plea available.
Joel Selwood can accept 1 game, striking L Thomas.
Lindsay Thomas can accept 1 game, striking J Selwood.

Joel Selwood can accept $1000 sanction, attempting to trip C Wingard.
James Cousins can accept $1000 sanction, careless contact with umpire J Dalgliesh.
Cameron Zurhaar can accept $2000 sanction, rough conduct against D Mirra.

Tom Mitchell can accept $1500 sanction, misconduct against T Goldstein.
James Sicily referred directly to Tribunal, serious misconduct against S Atley. No early plea available.
Majak Daw can accept $1500, misconduct against D Howe.
Touk Miller can accept $1500 sanction, misconduct against D Zorko.
Jesse Lonergan can accept $2000 sanction, striking A Witherden.
Dawson Simpson cleared contact Jack Newnes. Simpson was seeking to contest the ball and had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball.
Lindsay Thomas cleared contact Jack Henry. Thomas comes towards Henry from the front and contact was made to the Geelong player’s chest as he handballed the ball away. As contact was made to the chest, no further action was taken.

Ryan Burton cleared contact Shaun Higgins. Contact was between Burton’s shoulder / Higgins chest, with an accidental clash of heads. It was the view Burton bumped to the body and could not have reasonably foreseen a clash of heads. No further action was taken

God damn it Sicily.

Having to field two forward rookies if he misses is just woeful.

Sicily would have to be the biggest tosser in the league.

I thought owning Greene last year was frustrating...

Apparently he stood on Atley's leg when he was laying on the ground. Dog act. Could be looking at 3+ if any damage was done.

Joel Selwood copping a week for standing in for his brother and barely making contact to that lowlife sniper, Lindsay Thomas, is an absolute joke by the way.

You have to look at the incident separately, the reasoning behind it is irrelevant.

Hope Thomas gets at least 3 though, horrible hit.

Going to hurt my side with no Selwood and No Sicily this week though.

Hawks attitude that it is ok that Sicily plays 'close to the line' needs to change imo. His reading of the ball and DE are more important than his aggro and bluster. Needs his head kicked in by the coaches and senior players for ******** decisions against other players. Him being out will cost the Hawks...

Even looking at it separately, I don't believe it constituted a one week suspension. A fine at worst.

The one that really surprised me was Zurhaar only getting a fine for his BRUTAL slamming of Mirra into the fence. Seriously, it was a completely pre-meditated move that was nothing but pure COWARDICE. There was absolutely no need for him to have done it, and it could have caused serious injury.
