Maybe they take the greater amount of a calculation from his 2017 games plus discount vs his 2016 games plus discount?
I have used (Ave x 5558.478) less 20% Discount which has been used in the past for players playing 1-2 games and Ave < 50

Not sure if Tuohy was one of the main 6 DEF for us SC'ers coming into 2019.

"Geelong defender Zach Tuohy will have a delayed start to pre-season training after having arthrospic surgery on his knee.
Tuohy was not on the track when Geelong’s senior players returned to training on Tuesday for the first time since their elimination final loss to Melbourne.
It is a rare injury setback for the 28-year-old, who has not missed a match since the 2012 season.
The minor clean up was booked in to fix an issue he played through late in the season.
Tuohy is expected to join the main group after the Christmas break and will spend the coming weeks gradually building up his running, according to multiple reports tonight."

do prices and positions normally start getting "leaked" December 1st?

When does SC open ?

AFL.com reporting that Daniher is still not back in full training and unlikely to join until after the Xmas break
Justin Crow (EHPM) on our members email, in his injury update said that they are easing him back into full work.

I still feel that at the hugely discounted price, he's worth looking at... If the guy could learn to kick straight, he'd be something else!

But I agree with you, that this could take him out of contention for a lot of SC'ers :)

Star forward Joe Daniher – who has been off the scene since succumbing to early onset of osteitis pubis in round seven this year – has continued to improve and is eyeing a return to training with his teammates post-Christmas.

“Joe is doing most of his work before Christmas separately to the main group, we’re building him up really gradually,” Crow said.
“The idea is that he gets a big foundation of running and work that we know will set his groins and his body up to have a good season.
“We’ll be training him accordingly and taking our time to make sure we get him right for the season.”

As long as Daniher is in full training by January I'm going to start him, I didn't think he'd be in full training now anyways.

With my team at the moment not picking him means picking two extra mid pricers, and I just don't see anyone really "screaming" value at mid price like McLean, Sicily and Smith did this year. The only mid priced players I really like are Williams and Daniher (Taranto if he gets forward status but I only think he'll get mid). Others like Witherden, Blakely, Milera and Wingard fill me with a so-so feeling but I will consider them.

Daniher will make money if he starts the season healthy, the question is how much.

I've never liked the idea of trying to create a market. A license for a team should always be requested. I think Southport might have requested a license many years ago. Even though it doesn't have the name recognition of the Gold Coast at least they would have had an established club with the support of the local community.
I think not only is gold coast a mistake but also gws. From memory gws have also had better draft concessions to start with. Less clubs means players are spread less. Id much rather those players all spread out to other clubs than having 2 clubs draw 5 people a game. Doesnt matter how good gws are, every time i watch them it judt doesnt feel like an afl game.

I think the AFL chose GCS and GWS as the 2 new teams because it was looking into the future, to be money makers for the AFL. I would have liked to see the 2 newest teams in Tasmania and Northern Territory.

Danger is a MID/FWD!
Yep, Danger and Devon Smith lockity lock starting premo's next season if this translates to SC. Also, can anyone tell us what Will Setterfield will be worth, could be one to watch.
