Anyone got the gonads to start Pruess at R2 to pay for this kind of starting midfield? (I’m looking at you IDiG)

Think I'd rather take Naismith than Preuss.

Zac Clarke at $142k, lockity lock at R3. Any love for Rory Lobb as a forward now he's at the dockers?

I don't know if Zac Clarke will get a game unless Bellchambers is injured. Pretty sure we just wanted a replacement for Leuenberger who had retired as a back up ruckman. Don't see them both fitting in our best 22 by any stretch of my imagination, our forward line and back line runs pretty deep, our midfield is still our weakest link but I don't see an extra tall fitting in our line up.

I’m still licking my wounds after a stinker last season so straight bat for me. With that said, no one is jumping out at me at R2 so who knows

Considering an R/F at R2 who could move to my fwd line when Mummy becomes available. But that the of plan will depend on a whole bunch of things

It's going to be tough to fit any more than 4. I don't remember too many years where we've started with 2x 700k+ and then tried to squeeze in another 2x 600k+.

Had Titch, Macrae, Danger and Grundy, managed to squeeze in 14 premos. Sub 500k players were Milera, Wingard and Williams. Left 2.2m for 16 rookies. Not sure thats enough but we'll see.

I think my numbers were affected by having a bunch of the top end defenders, who I can’t see not topping that position next year.

Still early days of course, and there’s a bit of value to be found but I’ll be aiming to pick as many sure things in my starting team next year even if it means starting with a premium or two less than previous years.

Still a long way to go though.

I worked out my team today based on the pricing, which was average x 5427.28, I don't know what Williams will be priced at but I have given him a 20% discount.

My team is: Whitfield, Witherden, Williams
Titch, Fyfe, Kelly, Neale, Dusty, Zerrett
Grundy, Nank
Danger, Heeney, Dunkley (or Wingard)

leaves me with just over $2 mil to spend on 16 rookies, which will be enough to get Walsh and Setterfield.

Thats enough for rookies as long as you're only planning to start 4-5 guys over 140k, I'm only planning to get two of those players.

I think generally you're going to need more than that..or at least the flexibility to include a few 140-220k types. Dunkley is high on my wishlist as well but like yourself it seems, will be the first to go if funds are needed.

I can't say for sure because alot of the articles are behind paywalls, so not sure if Libba has been included.

fair enough , I have no idea how they will calculate his 1 game for 13.

If they give him a 20% discount he will be about $ 347,680.00

With doc down, can we go back to this young chap in his 15th season? So durable and at 105 ave becomes a great pick...in the low 90s not so much with the new brigade of defenders who all look capable of going 100+.
