Neale vs Dusty

Kelly vs Dunkley
Dusty - I'm a big believer in selecting starting squads based on upside and isolating the consistent players as trade in options. I don't see upside in Neale just because he has changed club, Rowsus has pointed out that club change generally does little to the averages of established players.

Toss a coin - look at your bye structure.

Trying to decide where Moore sits.

Lloyd (D1) + Petruccelle/Parker (D7)

Any premo forward of your choosing that's not Heenerfield (F2/F3) + Hind (D7)

That's the missing piece isn't it. For me it's really between Dunkley, Kelly and Gray. Westhoff interests me as ruck cover but i think he's possibly 10ppg overpriced and will wait.

For that I'm looking at starting Lloyd. Yep, many have said that he's overpriced also but not much has changed at the Swans so I think he'll punch out good numbers still.

Don't normally buy into decisions being a strict X vs Y - but a final week switch in the heat of passion has me stumped.

It's moves like this a few days before bounce that I've done in the past that will haunt you all year. Cripps and Collins for sure.

Neale vs Dusty

Kelly vs Dunkley
What is an acceptable average for Dusty to be worth a selection? Neale is probably priced at what he will score, with Dusty he certainly has upside however I don't think he'll replicate 2017. Having said that, he doesn't have to for it to be a good pick. If he goes at 110 for $576k * 22 games then it is a great pick. The question is, does he play a lot through the guts (they've added Lynch which might mean he isn't required as a marking option as often in the forward 50)? Is he too much of a team player these days? He sacrificed his midfield game alot for the team last season. It should be a no brainer pick at that price given his scoring prowess for the last 3/4 of 2017, but it seems to be a tough one.

I think Dunkley has much more upside than Kelly with increased risk of not playing the preferred supercoach position, purely for upside I think Dunkley.

The cutoff for the minimum you want out of a mid premium is about 108, so if Dusty hits that it would be a good pick (since he's priced at 104). Now that cutoff can be lower for a value selection, if Brad Crouch played 22 @ 105 I would call that a success.

Last minute tweaks. (my estimates)

It's a coin toss for me.

Macrae (120) and Goldy (110)
vs
Merret (110) and Grundy (120)
