B.Smith + Libba + Dunkley
vs
Duursma (D6) + Neale + Billings
Option 2 more keepers. But 85+90+100=275 and 60+115+95=270. Classic conundrum that is pretty similar to all including my own. I think the statistically sound and safe option is B. But so tempting to go 1 for the extra starting nonrookie (but there is no real benefit of an extra starting non rookie if the other option has a similar output which in this case is likely). Your saving yourself a trade though. Hmm, ironically I'll now ask my own equivalent 3 midpricers Vs 2 premos and a rookie question hoping for the godsend answer haha

Although I mostly play fantasy think this question is still relevant here. I really should consult past analysis about midpricers for this but it's always so tempting at this time of the year thinking you can't win it without a high upside Midpricer etc.
Macrae (125), Dunkley (105) and Collins (60 max in fantasy) =290
Vs
Taranto (105), Worpel (90) and Hurn (95)=290

If anyone could remind me or point me to an antimidpricer article right now that's be great but I feel all options in B have a chance of being keepers.

MacRae, Dunkley, Collins.. too much uncertainty with option B

Steele vs Brayshaw vs Taranto at M5 as the most likely keeper for M8.

Really struggling here.

I think it unlikely that B.Crouch plays 20+ games and I don't like the pick as a stepping stone, thus he isn't in my calculations.

Steele's: role has changed since the midfield coach arrived mid year last year, now a real two way player as opposed to a run-with/tagger but is also in a team expected to again get pummelled and has no real ruckman!
Brayshaw: Is breaking out now! Should be getting more inside midfield time and less wing time but Melbourne still have Ollie,Viney and Harmes in there, combined with poor DE%/clanger count makes me wonder whether he can go past 105.
Taranto: Slightly cheaper, no Shiel, so midfield time increase is a given, no Ward for the first 4 or so weeks due to injury, Kelly? no one knows what is going on with Kelly and proven to score big when at least one of the big gun mids are missing. The odds of another high first round draft pick with 37 games to his name breaking out for a 105 season?

Brayshaw of that lot, if he can manage to clean up his disposal, even marginally, he's a good chance of joining the top tier. Whether he can do it or not is a different question.

Would love thoughts on this

My structure is 11-4-15

Goldy (R2) + Worpel (F4) + 114k in bank (could also use cash to upgrade MCrouch (M4) to a Oliver if wanted)
Vs
Gawn (R2) + Greene F4) + 11k

Both options still give me that same structure but as option one gives me the cash for any corrective trades I need to do by round 3 just wondering is it worth it or not would I be falling behind in points wise or could it be a well plan tactic, thoughts??

Quite tough but yeah I would agree option 2 by just, I’m very iffy on Martin and also feel Lloyd or laird could be gotten cheaper later in the rounds to come
